It looks like the 'boffins' at Cambridge Uni are banning birds from breeding https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/news/chris-packham-slams-cambridge-university-over-nets-on-trees-to-stop-birds-from-nesting/27/02/

Could've done with your services at the sainsburys fruit packers in Charlton in the early 1970s. The toilets were so bad my friend and I held it all day for two days- then did not return. I always thoroughly wash any sainsburys pre-packaged fruit, salad or veg- and usually try and avoid it...

How would a person, especially a young person, recognise that they have 'low level mental health problems'? Surely the schools or the family would be best placed to recognise a change in someone, or that they were moving towards depression and therefore the funds would be better spent in schools or the borough child psychology department.

It's not just private school pupils that travel a distance to school in a car and clog the roads- as anyone who has travelled past Francesca Cabrini Catholic Primary in the morning or evening will testify!

(I can't read on the bus either because it makes me extremely nauseous) Have you a piece of bedroom furniture to put its back at the end of the futon to form a headboard and face the window?

Fingers crossed https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-8026293/US-scientists-completed-coronavirus-vaccine.html?ico=pushly-notifcation-small Although these zoonotics will continue to plague the globe until the market set-ups in the countries of origin are radically overhauled

Dulwich & Herne Hill Quiet Skies Campaign

If you are just reading (as opposed to reading and taking notes) why don't you lay down and read?

I would have said if that had been the case- but it wasn't. She did not work. She was back home before me every time. This is a point though- maybe ALL those parents who drop their kids off at school have to then get on to work- the rush hour is what it is- if you go to other parts of London during the day it is like rush hour 24/7 even though there may be good transport links. At least it is fairly peaceful around here during the weekdays. And anyway getting here there and everywhere in as shorter time as possible is the way we cram so much into our lives- most people are very reluctant to give that up...

From what I saw they are going to almost pave over the top of Eynella by the library so that only cyclists and pedestrians have access. It's a bit of a worry because the cyclists around here are reckless in my experience and they are silent....

Peckham Sorting Office Opening Times - Changed?
seenbeen replied to Zak's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Interesting- there will be more people going to Peckham so if they are closing earlier the queues will be longer. I always book a re-delivery online and it has been 100% so far -
A friend works in a sixth form college and the canteen dished up unhealthy stuff until the teachers complained and the menus changed to much healthier foods. The students then started buying their food in the local high street- kebabs, chips, fried chicken etc so the canteen reverted back to the awful stuff.

complain to the Post Office. A postie once just chucked our mail including bank statements on to the front door mat. We complained and it didn't happen again.

Well, it's worldwide and people are not immune to it so yes it is already one- unfortunately.

I live near Heber School and the roads around there are heaving in the morning- double parking etc. And if anyone has ever driven around Francesca Cabrini school at the 'wrong' time- it is ridiculous
-
Oh yes- I should have called it Global Palindrome Day.
