Oh and George Clooney Hmmm....

We watched this last night It felt slightly more Coen Brothers this time around Saul is a great character, i'm glad to see him back

This 'Hipster' thing is getting complicated I'm starting to regret the initial and somewhat rash 'coming out'

Ah yes but, i've been outed by others so I self refer as 'Hipster' However, my sub-group reference is as yet 'undifined' so the above term is a mere refrerence point, for the easing of conversation on this Forum I hope this makes things clearer I am tho a #Foodster (that's a Hashtag Foodster)
  8. Carry on with Grrrr-ing Normally i'm very anti 'parking outside my house' type threads, but when space is already at a premium then I get your drift. Along with the fact that it's a hulking great van Let us know how 'Vangate' evolves

From now on i'm going to self identify as 'Hipster' It's actually quite liberating to say this In fact i'm going to have some (hand printed on some brown paper & string) cards made Seabag #Hipster #Foodster

I know his work and he's very funny (in measured doses) when off his face Even funnier when he insists on riding in the back of my pick-up in the rain Thankfully it was only a short trip from Brick Brewery to The Gowlett

Basically it's jealously lite How dare you, whilst 'we' struggle within the othodox uniform And "you lot" get to express yourselves/be successful/do what you like/move

I'm guessing it's anyone daring to sport a "look" that's up for derision here

Your're part of the 'honestly, I don't give a damn' style tribe already I met another one last night on The Crustconductor, but this one was wet/sweaty/drunk and deffo part of the same movement He 'didn't give a damn' either and reminded me of that regularly during the evening

  19. I think we've been and gone with the "them Hipsters" bashing/snidey thing Don't tell me you work in a pub ? Honestly, how many times have you been punched?

    Devonshire Road

It's a regular "rat run" and even if you win your little rat race, you're still a rat
  21. I had a girlfriend who was on the 'next' tip She dragged me round that shop soooo many times Good training for learning to say "Nope, I an't doing that" no more She set me up for life Tho I still shudder when I see the place/catalogue
  22. You've been hanging out in Weatherspoons far too long
  23. I reckon it's more to do with people flow The recent upgrade to transport makes joined up sense. It's just easier to get to the area now, and the Ginger line brings a flow of affuluence among its commuters. Canary Warf, Shoreditch and the likes are now easy peasy for those who work there. A bit like snakes & ladders: Priced out of Hackney? then slide down the line to Peckham, Penge, Brockley, even Sydenham I accidentally got on the wrong train from Shoreditch yesteday and ended up at Queens Town Road. You know the place, the one with the trendy bakery and the craft ale Beer Rebellion bar, where I got a black cab from right outside the station Yer, whoooo'd have thought it. It's all change and it ain't going backwards
  24. They're in Crystal Palace too Mind you, what would shock would be 'Foxtons Sydenham'
  25. I live nearby, it's been shite for years If they cast it over in concrete and sold cans from a 'eski' it'd be an improvement I liked the days of the fur coat and not a lot else landlady Not that I ever actually saw that, just the fact it was rumour made me laugh But in hindsight, it's always been 'odd'
