The government has confirmed its ?exploring further restrictions? around foie gras following reports that ministers were drafting legislation to ban imports. But in all honesty, does anyone believe this government actually cares a fcuk about geese being fattened up for thier livers, or is this an (obvious) post Brexit attack on the French. Nothing like getting the French farming industry riled up for good effect. The UK imports around 200 tonnes a year currently.

If Johnson resigns over his lies and misleading Parliament, then I?m sure Nicola Sturgeon will too. I mean, she?s a fundamentally decent person, unlike Johnson, who?s always waiting to be caught out.

A friend ?moved back? to Hungary, she?s an accountant and trading in international trade. She has settled status after 8 years here, but due to family events, ageing grandparents, she returned to her country of origin. Plus the ever growing feeling of hostility since the Brexit vote has made informed the move. Now she finds herself in a different limbo, where there?s not a status for her back in Hungary to access health services etc, a system where she?s getting passed around the state departments with basically the same outcome. We can?t help you. So to access medical services she?s having to plan to fly back here. She feels lost between two cultures and systems, wondering if going ?home? is actually possible/better or the same. Not really the best Brexit experience would you say? And I imagine this happening over and over, so staying as is, working in pubs seems like an option without options. And those who go are advising those thinking of leaving to be cautious.

Since this horrible lot got in they?re hell bent on locking down (peaceful) protests and such likes. Nasty nasty people, doing anything they can to avoid scrutiny. I very much doubt there was any conversation other than ?maybe it was infiltrated? speculation. Patel and Dick need to go. Both seriously out of touch.

I heard (an actual adult) say that the cotton wool on the end of the testing stick for COVID isn?t actually cotton wool, it?s nanobots that get into your blood stream and they?re there to track you through the phone lines. It?s all there this news apparently, but when asked why this wasn?t on the general news they scoffed. ?They?re all in on it too? So there you go, I?ve shared this valuable news with you, don?t say you weren?t told 🤪

You need to go to Walworth Road, this is quite a normal sight.

It takes some of the heat off of Prince Andrew, for now. I wonder who?d be entitled enough to think of asking ?what shade will the new baby be?? whilst straight faced pointing to a Farrow & Ball paint chart? I?m happy to speculate Andrew or Prince Philip.

What is a resigning matter anymore, apart from underage sex? I?m struggling to think of anything. Lying to the Queen? Lying to the country? Just farking lying full stop? Nope, none of the above. Seems they all make you fit for government these days.

Class war is furking tedious, over and over. Served with extra chips. Do you think the Volvo driving , waxed cotton wearing ?yuppies? in question are writing threads on some forum somewhere telling of ?chavs? tutting at the price of cheese rolls? No, they?re getting on with life as it goes, way to wrapped up in the minutiae to be bothered by those ?class warriors? looking on. You?re invisible, or at best ignored. In a world of injustice and billionaires, they?re is a grey area. Most of us live in it. Try and be nice, it?s free.

Going away for a while and returning under a new i.d has been happening for years, and it?s quite fun when the new name gets gently ?outed?. The EDF has a great history of this, long may it reign. Even the baddies trying to make a return are quite funny, Steve Taylor being one, and Trolley. And many on here may remember the funny/clinically insane Big Bad Wolf still brings a cold sweat to many, yet somehow the is it, isn?t it is just as fun. But to have a multiple identity portfolio, and then use it across the forum is bordering on weird/deceptive, specially posting or housekeeping your own threads in each ?ego? is weird weird. Like who?s getting the kick here? Even shadier is saving one ?ego? for supposedly funny stuff and the other for the more unsavoury political musings is worryingly odd. Just be you out-best-self why not?

Indeed, very Rem I?m liking his current project due for Manchester DR (of which a COVID-19 denier must have walked past at least once or twice) It is designed by the international practice Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), founded by Rem Koolhaas and will be their first major, permanent cultural building in the UK. Ellen van Loon is the lead architect and OMA have designed a structure with uniquely flexible internal spaces, as well as the spaces outside, including two public squares by the River Irwell, intended to make The Factory a destination for people living and working in Manchester, as well as visitors to the city. The Factory's internal spaces cover approximately 13,300 square meters, with adaptability designed to enable the commissioning of large scale and intimate work across different art forms, including dance, theatre, music, opera, visual arts, popular culture and digital work, plus major exhibitions and concerts. Work commissioned for The Factory will go on to be presented around the world, whilst Manchester International Festival will continue to take place every two years. The Factory is anticipated to bring 1,500 full time jobs and add up to ?1.1 billion to Manchester's economy over a decade.[4] It will also offer a skills, training and engagement programme for people living across Greater Manchester. Great project, by a Dutch Architect. I?m guessing all the English ones were busy when this gem for Manchester came up for grabs. Anyways, fu(? COVID-19.

Specially posting on their own threads in each ?alter ego?. That?s just odd, tho I suppose there?s a ?Oooo..I?m getting away with this? about it, but it?s still fekn sketchy.
