But come on, you know, everyone knows he?s a shitbag. He might be your guy, but he?s still a shitbag of a human being.

He?d suck your children?s eyes out when you weren?t looking if he had the chance.
  6. I?d actually prefer a swab up the arse, my nose is way more sensitive. Is that TMI?
  7. It?s not the only reason for disconnect in Scotland. However it?s compounded by the arc of time we?re in. Brexit was designed and delivered by that arse Cameron and his thin on details cabinet. Bored to death by a very Westminister centric closed in May. Then, well past its sell by date, fudged over the line ?oven ready and stuffed with lies? for Brexit by Bodge Job Johnson. Fooking Scottish fishermen up the rear while he was at it. The Tories are consistent I give them that. They continue to piss Scotland off, so who can blame Scotland for raising the idea of an independent EU friendly country.
  8. Some things don?t travel well. Like Trump, Johnson trails the whiff of nativist populism with him. His agenda (whatever Gove says otherwise) becomes more transparent away from its base camp. And the Scottish mistrust of Johnson and his government is palpable. Still, I?m sure all the NHS COVID front liners will be super happy he?s travelling all the way up there to say ?thanks?.
  9. Lucky Scotland, Boris Johnson is going to visit It?s a bit rich him going to sell the Union project when he?s done so much to f*ck it up. The ?will of the people? of Scotland was 62% voted to remain in the E.U. and if anything we know about this government, they?re very very respectful of the will of the people. But like Trump thought America needed ?more Trump? it seems Bodge Job Johnson thinks Scotland needs more Boris. Good luck Scotland. Kick his fatuous arse. https://apple.news/ADRw-M-rmRxqrP2qYFORYNg

  13. I?m thinking Isle of Wight becomes our version of Monaco
  14. Tongue in cheek we could go for E.U England United. But it stinks of xenophobia and nationalism. And it?s not true, as we?re way off being united.
  15. Ideology here has driven a wedge between us as a country, from which we?re going to suffer for generations. It?s pretty shocking to consider, but consider it we must. And seeing as we?re going further down a path of near biblical political stoniness, and the union is fracturing, I wonder what we might call what?s left of us as a country. We can?t blame Scotland for wanting to be independent, or for Ireland to be reunited. Both will end up back in the E.U at some time in the future. What?s left will shrink into further devolution and Wales will probably be next. So much like a relocation of a football club, a name change and rebrand gives fresh hopes to some. Think how in 2004 M.K Dons were once merely Wimbledon F.C. From the ashes a Phoenix can rise. Or how Skoda drivers alway tell you ?essentially it?s a V.W or an Audi under the bonnet!? I?m sure with a new name, we can fudge the past and eventually forget what the UK once meant. We live in hope.

  19. Oh please, I?m well outside my echo chamber. It?s just slightly glib type comments that ?it?ll probably be fine? that?s making me want to metaphorically kick people. It is not fine. The experiment is failing already. Mostly because a lack of detail and honesty from those that kicked this sh*tball over the line. Those that get paid still, whilst they experiment with other people's lives. Namely the architects of this demise. I?m happy when it works for you to say ?I told you so? but in the same grace, while it fails allow us and people like me to say it how it is
  20. Are the government (or you for that matter) going to give me close to the pointy end of 500k and rising, for the ill planned experiment I?m living on their and your behalf? I very much doubt it.
  21. Oh and we?re having to explore setting up an office in Europe to get around much of the toxic UK business atmosphere.
  22. The Cold light of day has hit my business. I import from Europe, as well as Malaysia and Cuba along with the USA. Freight from Asia is more problematic now, transportation cost risen. Timings all over the place. Every planned delivery from Eastern European block, delayed, 50% more expensive, each job man marked to ensure delivery. Notable last minute delays, often a day or two. Which on the face of it doesn?t seem much, only we lay a team off each day it doesn?t turn up. That?s expensive and disruptive. Goods from France require many more declarations, weights, measurements, certificates from Agricultural Department. None of this ever happened before. Some tiny suppliers struggling to keep up. Greater costs again, delays. Goods from Spain, our biggest supplier after Malaysia. Delays, uplift in delivering costs, payments upfront to hauliers, loss of terms. Delays to correcting documents, delays to delivery schedules. Nobody wants to deliver to the UK, so we pay for the privilege. Every turn costs money, my money. Which equals a screw down on labour hours, less work for our team, margins slashed in a very tight market. That?s our Brexit reality. The thought that people voted for this as some kind of gleefully smug social experiment, letting long time business?s like mine be used as some kind of ?adjustment tool? for their ideas, is perverse. Maybe if you?ve a safe buffer job, where you can read about the effects but not honestly feel them, then great for you. Brexit is a shit expensive experiment, using real people as lab rats. Teething problems. I?d happily kick anyone straight in the teeth saying that, then tell them ?teething problems?
