oh Keef are you as defensive about other things in life as much as you are about the CPT?....don't get all upset. I know the CPT is very dear to you, but it's a dump (to me) and I can't be arsed to walk through the door let alone try their 'crop'....but please don't yell at me again.

Although I would have done if I'd known it was you......Welcome.:)-D We only speak to one of our neighbours. The one who lives above us is the noisiest, most useless and ignorant neighbour you could ever dread of having. Has no idea how to respect other people's peace and quiet and seems to think it's acceptable to dump all sorts off crap outside in my front garden. Anyhow! I'm sure AnnaG are a perfecto neighbour! Apart from that, we're friendly with the other people we know. It's a very quiet street. Which I love! Hope you enjoy!
I am repairing to the lounge to watch the Antiques Roadshow, with a glass of red. Maybe the Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies, will appear amongst the shows many finds?......

I really must keep in touch,I know its off thread, but why are 'we' at war with Camberwell?
dear oh dear what has happened to this thread??? tanget anyone? I do feel West Dulwich is boring and posh.....and East Dulwich is a melting pot of all classes. Yes, including middle class...why doesnt one of the EDF log on and post something on their site like they have on ours. Keeps it colourful.
I thought that West Dulwich was more affluent that East Dulwich? Whenever I take a run out that way the houses seem to be bloody huge. It seemed quite a boring place, to be honest....
I am the Middle Class Middle-woman.....I am in East Dulwich and have been everywhere else I have lived...in answer to your question. Now what to do about us snobby 3 wheeler types that the WDF think we all are....should we invite the WDF over the The Herne for a sunday lunch? bring the kids....or what about the mum and baby sessions at The Palmerston, maybe that's something that would interest them?....we only want to compare buggies after all. Chit chat, you know the type of thing.
maybe over in West Dulwich where this is no 'middle-man'.....they have their own unique swear words, especially for the lowe/upper class of person that lives there?..maybe it's code so we middle classes in ED can't cotten on?
Brendan, Who were the over dressed people and how were they being rude to on another? I think we also saw them as we were in there last night.... I feel fine today, Mr MW74 is asleep on the sofa. Bless. I can do many things very well when I am drunk. I can do them better than when I am sober....which is a worry....
I am so drunk, whey hey...lovely Pinot...it's Australia Day and Mr MW74 and I,(I am English) have been out to celebrate...why?...God knows we still own them don't we?..... anyway tee hee and 'get a dog up ya, bogan...' Goodnight.
I wanted to be 1) A professional tennis player, 2) (if I could have time-travelled; a spy in WW2) 3) An actress. I didn't manage the first two. In between acting and still dreaming of being a spy, I work as a Legal Assistant for a huge firm of solicitors in the City. Not quite the totally creative lifestyle I had banked on.
