  1. (What happened with the cross dressing bloke from East Dulwich???) it took me ages to think of a rhyme!
  2. that he was fond of a dirty ol' rummage...
  3. he searched high and low
  4. that's hillarious!!!!!!! ......at least he had a few sausgage rolls that kept him happy, bless. I think I will get him to accompany me up to the bathroom centre opposite The Plough. We can have a look at some taps or something, and then I can say "Gosh, look! It's The Plough. I think the forumities are in there tonight. Shall we pop over dearest?" Cunning MW74
  5. do I have to drink cheap gin at the next forum get-to-gether?
  6. have you got another pic of me Mockney? (not that I'm vain or anything!) but one that's more, well, decent looking and less bonkers? come to think of it I AM bonkers so leave it as it is.
  7. I remember you hair CWLD. I was the one in the Catwoman jumpsuit.
  8. with lashings of gin
  9. lol!!! I popped up to The Plough earlier this week (no gin just some pino, medicinal purposes only you understand, retorative muscle relaxant) ans I'm glad the next drink ups will be there. They've done a good job. Thanks for liking my angle SMG, you're a rare breed.
  10. Yes! the gin made me sleep at a funny angle. That's it. Infact judging by the state of me in that photo I was at a funny angle all bloody night.
  11. well SeanyMac, I have been laid up at home all week with a trapped nerve in my neck. Must have been the large quantity of cheap gin that I consumed that night! Because I woke up the next day and couldn't move. I joke not.
  12. Holy cr*p Batman! That's a damn awful photo. I do look, erm, mad don't I...and the fella next to me looks scared. Story of my life! Thanks Mockney Pirths.....
  13. Howdy are there any pics floating about from the last drink up at the Ivanhoe? I saw someone with a camera taking snaps....where are they?
  14. the nearest boozer to me is The Herne; but I cannot go in there anymore because I age ten years just by walking through the door. And then the next nearest is the Rye. What about the Page 2 now that is not going to be fogged up with smoke it may seem more decent. They've got a flyer out about some night where the music swerves from Led Zepp, to the Muppets and back to James Taylor. Just an ide for future forum events/meet ups.
  15. oh sh*it. And I've done so well at cutting back on the booze for the sake of my finish time for a 10k I'm doing later this month! It could all be destroyed in a few hours. I know you probably are all very nice people in the flesh (not that I want to see any of you flesh, you understand) It'll feel like a cross between going on a blind date and being the new girl at school.
  16. what do you old timers/ regulars and long standing forumities do to innocent first timer forum goers at these get-to-gethers? (depending on whether said first timers are able to pluck up the courage to enter the den of this seemingly intimate and tightly knit community of yours).....I have visions of entering the Ivanhoe alone (Mr MW74 thinks it would be best I suss you all out before hand!!!!??)and then being pounced on and quizzed about everything I've ever written on these pages (thinks back to recall if she's ever offended any of the old timers/regulars).....and then made to drink a flamming Sambuca in some weird sort of initiation ceremony. Of course you could all ignore me and shun the first timer and then I'd have to buy my own flamming Sambuca, wouldn't I.
  17. it's on the market for 850k.....
  18. ah yes. We have bloody hallogen bulbs. That's why ours is high, and like you bignumber5 alot of fancy lighting set ups.
  19. no Fear 'n boozin I am not. Never having been to one yet. So my Speedo and water wings is a no goer then? Drat.
  20. I'd run around the inside of the shop in my speedo in the name of art.....
  21. Haven't we already got a sort of empty shop. That art/installation gaff on New Cross Road? The one that played the film of the woman in the bathing suit running about a garden.....on continous loop. posh clothes and cushions. Mr MW74 will be peeved. There goes more money unecessarily spent on tat, by me!
  22. the co-op supermarket (if it can be called that) are selling their own version of the much loved jute/cloth bag now, along with all the others in ED. I forget what my point is, if indeed there is a point....um Well the co-op bank yes please, and the baby storage place, also sounds like winner.
  23. Funeral Directors then. You know what I mean! Undertakers....we could do with an apothecary and a barber surgeon.
  24. I came out with a vintage/retro Bush radio. Got in there and reserved one (sad-o) Now I listen to BBC Radio 2 in style every monring.
  25. Try EDF.....it's about ?90 per month for both gas and electric and we've got a large-ish two bed flat.
