  1. There are notices on some of the bus stops, but the stops aren't covered, so it could easily be missed that they aren't in use. The road works are pretty extensive - not just resurfacing by the looks of it.
  2. Due to road works on Bellenden Road, the P13 bus is on diversion from Monday -Friday this week. Buses will run in both directions between DKH Sainsburys and The Aylesham Centre in Peckham via Peckham Rye.
  3. There are a few P13s running today.
  4. There were a few P13s running today, but few and far between
  5. P13 is not running today
  6. There's also a postal strike today and tomorrow, so nobody will get post until at least Monday
  7. I doubt that you will get anywhere near Parliament by bus until after the Funeral. I went to the Procession yesterday and roads were completely sealed off by 12 foot high barriers with small doors for pedestrian access. Side roads were also sealed off. You should be able to get information from TFL website on diversions.
  8. Judith Durham of The Seekers passed 5 August
  9. Try Paine and Hunter in Lordship Lane.
  10. I found a Freedom Pass for J Barker by the bus stop at the top of Avondale Rise yesterday. If anyone knows J Barker, please message me so that I can return it. Thank you
  11. My husband had his booster there a couple of weeks ago
  12. Went to the Oval last week for a cricket match. The website states the ground is cashless, so we thought no need to take much money with us. When we got there, we went in the club shop and selected some shirts for the grandchildren. After queuing for an age, we were advised that 'the wi-fi was down' so they couldn't take card payments. We were then told we could pay cash, but only if we had the exact amount as they (obviously) had no change! We only had enough cash to pay for about half of our selection, so had to leave some. Then went to the food concourse only to find most of the outlets had stopped trading as they couldn't take cards and were unwilling /unable to take cash! Also worth mentioning, that while we were in the club shop, there were several youngsters on a school trip who obviously had a few pounds pocket money to spend, but (before the tills stopped working) had to leave the shop empty handed as they couldn't spend their cash! So cashless not always a good thing!

  24. Husband received a text message last week from GSTT to book a 3rd jab as opposed to a booster. He has recently had a long course of radiotherapy at Guys. He went this morning to the walk in at Guys and had Pfizer - he had Astra Zeneca for first 2. He was advised he should have a booster in 6 months.
  25. My son's mother in law had Astra Zeneca for first 2 jabs with no side effects. She had Pfizer booster yesterday and today has a very puffy face and feels flushed. Apparently, this is a known side effect.
