  1. The can't just transfer all the assets out of company and leave the debts behind. As Burbage said, you need to be clear which company you engaged with. If that company is being "restructured" and is insolvent, then they should have appointed administrators and posted notice in the London Gazette. Eg: https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/2584431 If Company A is insolvent and unable to pay its debts, then the adminstrator will try to get best value from its assets (e.g. Brand A, the value of your work) and pay as big a % of Company A's debts (yours) as is possible. Key is that they have to treat all creditors fairly.
  2. Other option I found, but havent used: http://www.dulwichgreen.com/ Please provide feedback on here afterwards,I need to sort one out.
  3. My son goes to the Saturday class at the Laban that melv mentions, and they sound just what you're looking for. There are/can be long waiting lists, but they do seem a bit random so worth speaking to them in advance of next term. The other thing he does is Capoeira, which is Brazilian martial art which is very dance-like but not as formal as ballet.
  4. My very nearly 4 year old daughter loves her classes with SR Dance at Barnes Wallis centre by New Cross Gate/Queens Road Peckham: http://www.srdance.co.uk/ Similar to eos, you pay for the term but you dont get in trouble if you miss classes.
  5. Old Nuns Head is open, and was excellent when we went there a couple of years back. Telegraph by Telegraph Hill also open, and food there is v good generally.
  6. As ever, no harm in putting 6 down. But put sibling school 1st and make sure you tick "sibling" box, as BB said.
  7. The schools don't know where you put them on the list when they allocate places. And borough doesnt matter either. To repeat what everyone said above: put them in the order you like them (and always put 6 down, just in case). Also, guessing what the schools involved are based on your name, go for the long shot: there's quite a lot of flux in places at the moment, so you might be surprised where you get in.
  8. Another + for Bambuni. Cannon and Cannon also have a shop in Brixton. Flock and Herd has a little bit prepacked.
  9. Pizza bus was great, but no longer does pizzas, being taken over by a pop-up till christmas. Also not sure getting a dozen 10 year olds there is that fun (based on recent experience).
  10. Goosey: the councils will favour OKR because the developers there will pay for it. I'm sure they'd love the Camberwell route but where does the money come from?
  11. RRR how is the 20mph limit any different from the 30 mph limit? Or is 30 mph a magical speed which people stick to without enforcement?
  12. Fox, the meat will cross contaminate when sat next to each other in the counter. I can't think of a local butcher who uses tongs to pick up bacon but I nor can I think of one that wouldnt wash their hands (or put on clean gloves) to handle cooked meat after having handled raw meat: that is basic hygiene. Can't vouch for WR but other butchers don't handle raw meat and money with the same hands: they are particular about using one for meat and one for money. After getting both dirty (eg when cutting a large bit of meat) they'll wash their hands before handling money.
  13. We have tiles from the rubber floor company, but assume issues are the same with Dalsouple. We have studs, but I wouldnt expect smooth to be slippy. I can just about do a skid in my socks, but never have any worries with slipping, probably less slippy than lino/similar. I think I understand the point about being "dusty": after polishing the rubber has a really nice shine to it, which it loses pretty quickly so looks slightly dull and "dusty" (but isnt actual dust). We dont think it's a problem, but it does look nicer when it gets its irregular polish.
  14. Is it the inside on the wheel (ie the bit that contacts the axle)? Ours went on our chameleon. Made it quite hard to push - just bought new wheels online.
  15. Telegraph Hill: good primaries (Edmund Waller and Haberdasher Askes Hatcham Grove Free School) and secondary (Askes proper)
  16. "Bush meat" means wild meat, including monkeys, primates etc. There have been various rumours that you can buy this on Rye Lane, but no idea if they've ever been true. It's very illegal. No idea about organic kangaroo/croc. But I can recommend iceland's kangaroo burgers, even if they don't say organic on them.
  17. Susan - I just replied in the other place. Would be good to know how you sort it in the end: we need to get a shed soon.
  18. If Dulwich Green arent going still, you could try Brighton bike stores. I'm planning on getting one shortly: http://www.brightonbikesheds.com/
  19. Camden market (London's 4th most popular tourist attraction, apparently). *shudders* Shoe exhibition at V and A?
  20. Louisa, at the risk of being helpful, MoK is still open, and has now entered the 21st century, and has a twitter account: https://twitter.com/ManOKentNunhead/with_replies They only tweet about sport, but still have live music (I think)
  21. Jerkiz is good, Smokey Jerkey in New Cross Gate is excellent (but perhaps stretching "near")
  22. Odeon surrey quays is ?11.70 each for "blockbusters", ?10.70 for other films. Cineworks at the O2 is ?11 each. So Picturehouse in line for members.
  23. I've had Phoenix recommended by friends and my son seems to like it. Plus Beano, and unfortunately, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Dr Who one is monthly and good. Also if you want to try lots out, there's a day a year where various comic give away samplers for free. You've missed it now, but you can pick them up for ?1 online, eg: http://www.disposableheroes.co.uk/free-comic-book-day-2015/cat_362.html Not sure what might be suitable. Also a couple of comic books that have had good reviews: http://boingboing.net/2012/04/12/giants-beware-kids.html http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/books.php http://boingboing.net/2014/03/25/james-kochalkas-the-glorki.html http://boingboing.net/2014/11/26/strong-female-protagonist-book.html
