  1. If each share of the business is worth £400k, then the two directors have assets each worth £400k. If they are each able to raise a loan for only 25% of that then it would suggest that the business is either overvalued or that there are other debts and the debt to asset ratio is too high. This isn't accounting for the other two laundrettes owned, which they should also be able to leverage to raise the additional £200k If they want £200k - there is a potential of a huge number of individuals owning 1/6th of the business. How is that good business practice?
  2. More like school kids eating greasy chicken
  3. Thank you. It’s unlikely that it’s his as it had photo id (unless you look like an 18 year old?) we did call a bus garage but I will try the number you’ve offered. many thanks, Jules
  4. Has id please return if poss, you can keep the cash, we just need the id
  5. Found and appeared to have been dumped. Brought to safe place while we try and find owner before handing in
  6. the roll out/ introduction of CPZ across all of Britain has been going on for a number of years. It's a money making scheme and also designed to reduce the number of cars (not at all a bad thing). the real concern is that people think this is a labour initiative and that voting in the tories will mean that it won't go ahead. it's not relevant. the council will introduce it anyway but that short sightedness can have long term impacts, especially with the general election approaching.
  7. I saw him having cuddles a few days ago.
  8. We’ve had it on hoping someone would call. Has anyone lost theirs?
  9. lost its appeal to us when the crowds changed and the whole things needed security. Now just really middle class and mainstream. Shame really
  10. Nice sentiment Spartacus, but there are sufficient crimes reported to instigate a deployment of police. it’s not happening. There are no police attending or being visible. What level of crime do you think sets the trigger for police to well, police? Or rather, what do you think is necessary in order for adequate funding to be given to the police force?
  11. you'd like to think it was tongue-in-cheek, but there's really no grounds on which to assert that
  12. Great use of resource - couldn't someone find some water - there are lots of businesses around there. Fire extinguishers? Don't people actually have any common sense at all? And seriously - "War Torn"? Get over yourself. There are real problems in the world
  13. we used the floor steamer on the carpets and that got rid of them completely. you can also use on upholstery with correct attachments
  14. A Welcome Celebration
  15. You can't call people fascists because they don't agree with you and then justify that by saying you're Woke. If you feel that there is social injustice, the thing to do is go ahead and turn up and show your support - and find out what you can actively do to make things better. Sometimes things are more complicated - are the protests trans-phobic? or what is the message? Discourse is usually the best first step. If the concern is that by turning up and showing your support, that there will be a bigger focus on the protest and that will allow those protesting to air their views - is that not welcome? to allow people to have an open forum to discuss their views? If nothing else, it will highlight any issues that need to be addressed.
  16. That’s a great idea
  17. Please recommend what has worked well for your dogs and cats. We’ve tried Frontline and Advantage and don’t find that they work. We also use a spray in the house and clean frequently. Dreading this year if we can’t find a solution
  18. Very similar. We raised the lounge ceiling by 54cm which involved having to move the joists as well. Well worth it
  19. so much hate for the vet. The NH Vet have been absolutely fantastic for all of my issues. We took in a rescue dog who needed two knee replacements due to damaged cruciate ligaments. We were unable to travel for the specialist operation and aftercare, so they brought their specialist vet in, who drove up for a 8am appointment. The surgery was carried out beautifully and the personal care was brilliant. The Brockwell Vets on the other hand - absolutely disgraceful. They put my sick cat in a room with a vicious dog and caused her so much stress. We waited for the vet to see us and waited - eventually I went looking for her and found her on the phone chatting about holidays. They tried to force tablets down my kitty's dry throat and didn't even know about IV. We asked them to order a vet ambulance and they said they would, we waited and then they said they hadn't and wouldn't. Ended up taking a cab and got soaked on the way to the cab office (Vet refused to let us wait there as they were closing - not that I'd been waiting for the ambulance they told me they'd booked two hours prior). Vet in Streatham said my cat was in shock from the experience. I was too upset to make a formal complaint but did go and see the vet personally later, who apologised. Too fricking late.
  20. I thought Dulwich Estates were notorious for increasing rents? Is that not why we lost the lovely Brickhouse and got the chain Gail's?
  21. The woods, golf course and allotments
  22. I find it particularly offensive (yes - I am offended) by the number of people who still buy coffee in disposable cups - they do not bio degrade and disappear just because you can no longer see them once you've put them in the bin. Just buy a nice reusable one - from Poundland!!!! - and literally do the world a favour.
  23. Bsand….. Clearly not posh enough if you’re talking us all through your money. Also, moved away but still checking the local forum ?
