  1. I'd like to come, have decided that its too dangerous to drive to wales after six months of no sleep. The thought of the car lulling bubs to sleep for five hours then arriving and him being full of beans after I've just done that drive fills me with dread....would love to be there, just can't stand the journey. If the weather is rubbish will we just be meeting inside? Thanks for sorting it out emc x PS: I'm the woman with curly hair (surprise) and eyes that look like they are bleeding from lack of sleep!
  2. forget the bikini wax and use the cash to buy cake!! or if you insist the beauticians on forest hill road is pretty good and near cafe 2050 where you could eat cake after?
  3. ....come on here and flaunt your sleeping baby in our weary faces...grrr

  5. am so with you snowboarder, unless I time it just right little man has a right paddy at dinner time as hes too tired to eat, seems 5 ish is the best sort of time but if hes resisted napping during the day then he'll sleep through this window of opportunity and wake up with the hump....ho humm....
  6. sandperson is right on the maps its signed as the Arboretum.
  7. like helen I never got proper contractions, and if I had waitied for the contractions to come at the intervals specified by the midwife before calling her, I would have given birth at home. The passing of a huge blood clot meant that I went into hospital as an emergency but still no proper contractions, at 11pm was told not dilated at all and by 12.50 I had given birth, I'm not saying it was pain free but managed without medications of any sort, we only ever get to hear the horror stories and not all births are that bad. My top tip...when its time to push do it like you are going for a poo, this might actually happen but no-one, least of all you, will care xx
  8. apologising for being a man....fantastic, well done sherwick!!

  10. oh my god, please tell me you are joking...my son is six months old today...am I really supposed to be worrying about which school he will go to? I was still focused on getting him to sleep through the night...the pressures of modern living..bah!

  12. also the bridge in the japanese garden has been completly dismantled and destroyed by boring vandals, luckily a member of the public saw them doing it and chased them...stupid kids ran to their home and were thus caught! Not much will happen to them though as too young...doubt if they were descerning enough to steal ornamental roses though!
  13. ahhh, ok, thanks....suspicious mind getting the better of me
  14. taper, perhaps the bar person got their sums wrong on this round, or you are mistaken (misinterpreted)? This breaks down as a large shandy costing ?1.25, a rum and coke, ?1.25 with a pint at ?2.65 (or any combination thereof), this pub is in Grove Vale, not 1980? Brian and Glyn...weren't they in the series Teachers?
  15. this thread made it worthwhile getting out of bed today...I just wish I had been a member of the forum before Snorky became new, improved and non-offensive, must have been as funny as fuck x
