  1. Maybe a chilli bullet bike camera on the helmet; though I'd prefer to stick to roads with more traffic at night.
  2. Am I the only one that feels uncomfortable about this? These are people, and who knows where they are going to end up?
  3. Some people do not look around them , not like you,as a gardener. They just go to school, drop off, and go straight to their next thing ( like working at a desk/shop/ caring for others), they are more likely to pay attention to something in front of them. Were you involved in the school garden by chance? Some people dont read well, or research everything and work on suggestions, especially those put right in front of them, plus the children will see them and have nagging rights. The school clubs are also for the benefits of children at the school, whilst wine bar and chippies less so. I think you should approach said school about a children's gardening club, and stealthily change their tasteless ads by having far superior tasteful ones.
  4. Sometimes, as a parent speaking, its very helpful to have an after schoolclub in the same building.
  5. Also tth8nk about if they end up being much larger than you, then you won't want to split bills 50:50, you might want to recalculate shares of obligations depending on floor area
  6. I have about 200 stamps, varying in value from 5p to 37p....
  7. Someone told me today that stamps are being changed to a barcode system and old ones are being phased out, i think from 31march you can swap old stamps. I'm not sure if this means i can swap my father's old unused stamp collection . Anyone know more?
  8. Try dolly dit it,often at northcross rd or herne hill market
  9. i was there yesterday, the pub is being done up, but maybe pizza at he vineyard nearby, ant there is a tea room
  10. I wonder if you come to a secondary school such as the charter from overseaa as a refugee do they have any provision for ESOL?
  11. I've been to orthopaedic clinic at kings a lot, id say the people in the plastering dept are always very jolly and introduce themselves, unless they are very busy.
  12. I think its very possible that they are being spied on by others/ fear it, and they feel they have to show loyalty if challenged.I'd just give them a wide berth.
  13. Many Russians even those based here, would not be willing to express anti Putin views.i would not mention it, unless obvious oligarch.
  14. https://www.ebonyhorseclub.org.uk/friends-of-ebony-horse-club-syndicate/ This always sounds good to me
  15. You would think the Dr, would do this for a small charge.sure people would pay the same as cost of pcr test for this letter.
  16. You can go round for free in the daytime and decide yourself.
  17. When it was pointed out to one cleaner, he claimed he did not know anything about it.Im afraid its this kind of culture/ attitude, not helped by Mps that will push us all backwards. I can't see these new rules sticking if they are not policed and enforced. I felt less safe in a hospital than I would in a supermarket at that time of day. Needless to say the health professionals all had masks/ visors. 🙄
  18. I had to attend for an early appointment today . Not one member of the cleaning staff was wearing a mask. Not one! What's the point of wiping down surfaces if you're not wearing a mask.? Some reception staff arrived, no masks as they walked through the building. It makes me lose confidence, no one to complain to, and when challenged was told that it was safer not to wear one.
  19. thanks for letting me know
  20. I think that is just South London - been like that for at least 40 years (like).
  21. how lovely, and are they electric leaf blowers too?
  22. Not saying its a problem, just warning others to think ahead.
  23. But you know this is all a warm up for a future car paying scheme, right?no matter what car you have.
