  7. You could ask them in for a drink and mention it then? ALso worth trying to find out if they have carpets down with underlay to dampen the noise. There is a reason that leases of flats specifically say that there should be fitted carpets and underlay.

  12. I find it hard enough that Muslim children ( and others for religious reasons) can be withheld from sex edcuation for religious reasons. Yet all the safeguarding training I have goes on about FMG - why can't all children been told ?
  13. Bistro 1 in Southampton street is reasonable and has good veggie choices- but its not a pub. http://bistro1.co.uk/london-restaurants/covent-garden/
  14. My only comment from my experience with solicitors is that you nearly ( not 100%) get what you pay for. The more local ones, that say they do a bit of everything, sometimes are not good enough for something complicated. You have to pay more. My brother has just been to see a barrister for ?1500 for a few hours. He thinks it was money well spent. Good luck.
  15. Tea pot and tea cosy- plus tea set if you have the room.

  20. get one with washable covers is my tip. There are some places in south wales that specailise on them eg http://www.odeonfurniture.co.uk/range/ Ours survived 10 years or regular pillow fights/ building dens etc
  21. Toad of Toad Hall?
  22. My parents moved a lot, which had advantages and disadvantages. The last move at school age was when I was 13, and then they did not move till I was 22. The hardest move was when I was 13, as it was the last one, but the ones before that were ok. You are the novelty in a new school. If its your only move I think its fine, its when you know you are only staying for 1-2 years its harder to work up friendships. One of my best friends is a girl I sat next to from age 10-12. Its easier of you have siblings too. Good luck.
