Absolutely agree. Give them a chance and commend them for starting up.Jobs being created, a building being refurbished and a new place to eat/drink.All commendable.
I agree, there comes a time when its all too much. I can still listen to Robert Elms on Radio London, but Maxwell Hutchison ,his sidekick, is doing my head in now too. Can anyone offer anything else?
I see this is coming to London again at Christmas/New year.I wondered did anyone go last year? would you recommend for teenagers or is it too childish? Thanks
There reaches a point when some people can't take it anymore-if you don't have a family I would try and stay somewhere close to where you want to live for a week or two and see how the commuting gets to you. Seriously consider if you want to run a fleet of cars / taxi service if you have children/ teenagers.
but each individual flat must have building insurance, which should cover this. it will be a condition of your mortgage, however if you dont have a mortgage then you may not have building insurance- but thats pretty unusual.
but the owner of your flat may still have insurance for the flat itself- especially if they have a mortgage on it. it is their investment and they need to protect it. if its leaking they will not get tenants- check what your tenancy agreement says too. but go to the owner of your flat directly if you can. they will be more concerned to protect their investment.
i have had this with a plum stone in my saniflow- not sure which of my teenagers was responsible but when our saniflow man comes to sort us out - he always takes great delight at showing us the offending item! oh the shame ......................
Well I would rather have it than not have it that's for sure!! Occasionally parents go to several sources to seek assistance with school fees, such as charities ( for various reasons). If 4 of them give ?3K scholarships each them that would be a tremendous help. Also I think it is every year - so ?3k x 7 years= ?21k
I seem to have quite a few scart cables hidden in drawers. I no longer have a VCR or an old style tv. CAn any of you techies out there please let me know will I ever need them again for anything and if so what? If not are they recyclable/anyone else want them? Thanks
In state schools at least, there is little homework besides reading and maybe spellings in year 1. HOWEVER that does not mean you cant do for example times tables with her.
I did get the Menier tickets reduced by a Time Out offer, and I am very happy with that- in fact maybe its better to do it that way, so people that are already engaged and trying to source cheaper tickets explore/ sign up to everything they can. However Bellenden Belle and others have pointed out some great venues. It would be nice to have a thread running on this subject.
If it was council organised there was no consultation or warnings, which there were when Guernsey grove did a play scheme. Complete chaos.I think it was a spur of the moment thing.
YOu have never gone out apart from for work? She is 3.5? For the sake of your marriage and your own sanity you MUST go out more (IMO) so that she realises you have a life too. CAn you do something like swap babysitting with a friend with a similar age child- maybe from NCT or other classes- or someone you know from nursery? If you can afford it, get someone who is not family to babysit once every 2 weeks or so.
