  1. I have just bought Menier chocolate factory tickets from Time out offer for a third off- I guess you just have to search a long time in advance and you might get lucky :)
  2. Under the terms of the lease of your flat( presume it is the landlord) there will be rules and regulations, and there should be similar ones for her flat. you need to contact your landlord- via the agent if necessary and get them to contact the freeholder to complain. there will ( or ahould)be rules like- maintain the garden, carpet the floors . YOur land lords lease will also show what rights of access there are to the garden via your garden/ side access etc.
  3. oh crikey- yes it will be cocktails and beer. Bless.
  4. I could not help but notice Jamie's vino rosso and vino bianco in Tesco today. What next?
  5. I did - they said demand was so high they could only give concessions to oaps and gave it to them instead of students / children. ?120 for a family of 4 - ain't going to happen. The National and young/old vic are much better at this.
  6. If in doubt always pull the religion card- Cleggers!
  7. Maybe I am biased and maybe it depends on the genre of the theatre. I am just a little disappointed at the Chocolate Factory.
  8. I don't think there is anything to stop oaps working. My former director, on his earnings of ?300,000, used to use his free travel card whenever he went on public transport. I think its important to encourage young people to go to the theatre. Not all schools do trips to the theatre.
  9. I think its a bit mean when a theatre ( not a West End one)offers concession tickets for oaps but not students/ children. What do you think?
  10. I also teach English as a Foreign Language. I work part time as a TEFL teacher but am happy to teach individual or small groups of au pairs. PM me if interested, based in SE21.
  11. I dont have any I just thought traditionally they were wool ? like suits- although now its a wool/ polyester mix ( For secondary school)
  12. If you both work as full time parents, and are not teachers, then I think the only way to crack this is with a tutor. :(
  13. The sea! rock pools etc. Check tides- Joss Bay,BRoadstairs.

  18. We have relatives coming from Australia, the first time for 13 years. I am really excited. All the presents will be edible/drinkable, and there will be one present each as in secret santa style. It will be great, we will go on walks, play games eat and drink ,share memories, squeeze in a midnight mass- I am SO excited. We will not eat out it will not be much more expensive than another week, other than we will have 2 birthdays. Bring it on I say :)
  19. Blade
  20. its also good to think what you are going to put in the hearth- either now or in the future- as there are regulations esp for gas fittings/ coal effect fire etc. A real fire can get very hot and you must use the correct type of stone ( as we found out to our cost)
  21. the upside is that you will never turn into a coach potato- and they will keep you fit- you may end up running just so you can wear them out! :)
  22. I would like to know how she has captured your heart Mr Dogman.
  23. I can't help but think its trying to suss out what kind of parents you are - if you are clean and have books on shelves etc- but that's just me,
  24. I agree- I have been sorely tempted so many times- I am warned off and will tell everyone I know.
