Mick, I meant 'affair' in its purest sense eg Profumo. My dilemma for the game is one of wanting a gd atmosphere whilst still being able to take in the game. That's why I'm leaning towards Hoopers, CPT. EDT and Actress will be full of 'mancs' and will take ages to get served.

Why are people so obtuse with James? The guy is trying to help, twisting his words like that is pathetic. We are fortunate to have a pro-active councillor. -
With colly's retirement, it makes it a little easier. Morgan to start, Finn to miss out, I reckon. I would personally love them to drop KP for this series.

It's the finest game known to man, county cricket has witnessed a resurgence so far this season, good weather has lead to plenty of thrilling games. Internationally, we have a great summer too. Sri Lanka and India! Tendulkar's probable swansong.

exactly right Damzel - basically this confusion and inconsistency is pushing people to *not* do things through the proper channels... Those of us who want to do things 'by the book', get refused. Not a great outcome.

No update from me - i decided that we'd wait and see what the outcome was re Southwark's inconsistencies. There must be a resolution as their actions make no sense. So it's just a waiting - we are in no rush, but i dont want to take any risks either. Rob - what is that link? i can't make it work. What makes you think things are going the right way? Have you heard anythign on Archdale? Fingers xed!

Without trying to sound patronising, I feel very sorry for West Ham fans. They are a great club with real tradition and support, yet they've been worked over by very poor management, Karen Brady et al, you should be fired!

The difference being, only 2 clubs across the border have money and the spoild have been split between them. South of the border, Chelsea, Man U, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs have all spent a bucket load over the last few years, yet only two clubs have triumphed.
