Loving this thread, is Steve Os book available locally? 80s band in Liverpool, The Bingo Brothers, had as their signature 'the Russians are coming'. Surely, a coincidence but a great track.

Mrs McKlusky and Danny Kendall found a happy compromise, why can't we?

I was there too, it really was a cracker!!

Contrived blokiness with an awful whiff of 6th form banter. I find myself watching it and then just as with fish chips, immediately self loath after consumption.

Please tell me these places are still there, unspoilt, ungentrified....

Bradley's Bar on Hanway Street, reassuringly scruffy with great juke box. -
Hillsborough Disaster - What exactly is this Justice for the '96?

Follow you around? Jeez, you have some ego. Let me tell you if you go around making outlandish comments on a public forum (where do you want me to start?)you might be held accountable. Persecution complex, oh, the irony. -

Otta when up against it you always personalise. Huguenot, money... What families are after? Or, what you think might offer them a sense of justice? -

Otta, dog with a bone? Pathetic. This is more than oneupmanship, show some respect to the subject. This thread is as highly relevant now as it was then,If you feel shit for starting it don't blame it on me. Huguenot, money, really? A deliberately provocative statement, if not, just pig ignorant. Michael, a brave admission, one which stands out amongst much of the side stepping dross I've read on this forum recently. -

Perfectly reasonable to revisit this given that it is the exact same issue discussed on football thread. So, what did you mean? -

I'm in France next week and want to watch the footy on Monday night via Skygo. There is no wireless where I'm staying, so will have to use mobile broadband, I'm told it is 70p per megabyte. Anyone any idea on approx how many megabytes one would use for live streaming a footy match?

Huguenot and Otta. Yes, there are saints and sinners throughout this. What I'm most surprised by is your predisposition on making this an issue about the reaction of the wider Livepool public. So what, if people are kicking off if they didn't personally have any link to those killed. That should not be the prime focus for debate here. You both seem to be obsessed with this issue, yes, it's a talking point but not THE point. You both reference how gutted you feel for the families etc but it comes across as a side issue. The issue is, that 41 lives could have been saved. I repeat, there are saints and sinners on both sides here but what has has been REVEALED over the last 48 hours is a massive cover up which anyone who you knew anyone who was there, knew. Huguenot, before you dice and slice my post up here with pittiful semantics. Pls consider the real issue at hand.

more of a concern is the skipper!

he's been blasting to all parts at Taunton for 2 years now, reckon he's the real deal.

Buttler could be the star of the World T20, if Morgan hits form too, we could be in with a sniff.

Blame has never been the end-game as far as I'm concerned, it is truth and justice. How those families put up with the 'move-on', 'what justice?', 'professional-victims' tags with such dignity, I will never know. That they persevered despite all this is the only reason the truth finally came out yesterday. Had they 'moved on' or whatever, these revelations would still be hidden and eventually have been forgotten for good.

A memorable day, Anna. I am so glad for those who persevered. Thank God the campaign continued.

Asset, you are a tennis fanatic, I apologise. Equally, all sport should be free to air.

Asset, it's taken you until the (postponed) final to realise The US is only on Sky. From this, I surmise you're hardly a die-hard fan of the sport. So, for your part at least, you should be happy that the Beeb et al aren't squandering their resources on this tournament. Hardly outrageous.

is denmark hill cooler than east dulwich?
Atticus replied to Cam123's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I think you are being the over-sensitive one here. Mental, in this context is loaded with stigma. The hospital in question deals with all kinds of mental illnesses, yes, but I think we've moved on from the 70s sitcom labels. If you don't get this and are happy to wave 'the PC brigade gone mad banner' you don't get mental illness. -

'Mental' hospital. Really, Otta? -
Vaughan had a fit and firing all-rounder in his pomp in Flintoff, he had Trescothick at his best, S Jones at his best, Harmison at his best. None of the above where available to Strauss for any significant period.

Back to back Ashes = great captain. He took over when England where in absolute mess following KP/Moores debacle (thrashed by West Indies). 5th in world rankings We beat SA away, wiped the floor with India (who were ranked top of the world). He then lead team to the top of the world rankings.
