Just wondered if anyone with freeview is having problems with their tv reception? Everyone in the area should have received a card through their door a few weeks ago from at800 about this & getting a free filter to rectify/block the 4g signal? I nearly threw this card out thinking it was spam until I had a closer read & decided to keep it. I had forgotten about it till last night when we put the TV on & picture kept freezing & cutting out, I realized this must be due to the 4g signal.

Not so interested if it's in the bowl though.

I tried the euro in a sainbury's trolly but it's slightly bigger than a pound coin & didn't fit lol. Perhaps I'll accidentally spend it back to the corner shop from whence it came :O)

Recently I have been finding foreign currency amongst my change. I went to get a pound coin out to find it was a euro, now I've got a Canadian cent which looks like a penny. I think I've been given them in the local corner shops. I didn't notice at the time I got them. Where should I take these coins to get them changed back & will I get a pound or 86p for the euro?

I know, how about putting them in the multi-storey carpark suggested by mark88? Problem solved! :0) -

It's not the same as a proper larger garden centre you can walk round with a shop & stuff. -

oh no not again! I only read about this on here the other day. It was the thread about the card theft by Sainsburys. I wonder if it's the same thieves!

We need a Garden Centre! I really miss not having one now :( -
No, actually the building I am thinking of is the office building on the corner of Crystal Palace Rd & Upland Rd (not North Cross Rd)opposite The Actress, that had the one way shiny mirror windows. Not sure if that is the one UncleBen means?

Anyway, back > on topic - why not use the original ED police stn > site cornor crystal palace/northX? I wasn't aware that was the original station. It's been borded up some time now. I think that would be a great place for the station, if possible.

Woke up the other morning to someone trapsing around on the gravel in my tiny front garden. I peeped through the window to see van called CCTV & Drain Specialist & a guy - he'd opened the ?drain cover & was pointing a big hose thingy camera? down it. He hadn't knocked on my door or anything - bit of a cheek I thought. After a while he knocked on the door but when I opened it he rudely just turned round to his mate in the van & shouted 'we've got access!!'. Um, no I don't think so - 'no you haven't!' I replied. I was a bit pissed off to say the least. I told them I was just on my way out to work. The guy in the van said he could see a blockage on his camera & that they would try & flush it out via the front & may not require access to the back garden for this. He said if they couldn't clear the blockage from the front, he would leave a note in my door to let me know so I could arrange another time for them to come back but when I got home from work there was no note so I'm hoping all's good.

Re: Freeview - How Many Channels in East Dulwich
Callie replied to the-e-dealer's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
You get all the freeview channels you're supposed to get in ED. You can check the freeview website against what you've got to see if they are all there, if not, try retuning. You need an outdoor aerial installed for decent reception, forget the indoor ones. -
why has this topic been 'lounged'? how sad!

Anyone know what's happening? Hope there hasn't been a dreadful accident or anything. It's been circling ed area for a good while now.
