From The Potting Shed - Gardening Tips For April
woofmarkthedog replied to David Cheetham's topic in The Lounge
Davy... Stay calm, it's early season on the forum & you are doing fine Remember "plant" your "posts" in the full sunshine of your knowledge Though I'm glad you recognised MY TALENT early on & took my advice ( well done, I'm working on the logo ) A couple of pointers "From the potting shed " may read better as "From the Potting Shed" it lends a certain authority to your "Gravitas" Hold your course & remember if you need a hand, I'm here ( & how reassuring is THAT ?) Indeede.... W**F ( please though stop PM'ing me with your "other troubles" as I said, I don't have all the answers to those kind of questions ) -

You lot are so judgmental....... Safari has a "Private browsing" click, so no worries there ( *types in dogging dulwich*...) Anyway MrsW**F loves ( XXXX removed for my safeties sake ) Though it's my "Working dear...why ?..." (but really on the EDF) that requires a PANIC BUTTON And why not.....? W**F

Well..... From my "Family outings" scrapbook (& I lived down that way....) 1. The Beach area Parking in the underground car park along the sea front towards Hove is good Opposite (ish ) the Angel statue on the front The Regency fish bar on the corner by the car park is an institution & they like children, the food is good too Plus down on the lower part of front you have a good playground & if you walk East (left ) it goes toward the pier. It's nice & safe for children & there's interesting shops, places to eat ect Turn right is toward the Swimming pool (if you have your swimming gear & it's raining ) Check out the smoke house on the beach , their home smoked fish all done on site 2. The Market Lanes area.. There are other places good places in & around the Market lanes, if you like really healthy family eating then try this http://www.billsproducestore.co.uk/mainmenu.asp it's in North Street, ( there are 2 "lanes" in Brighton. Market lanes is the more relaxed, slightly hippy one) Essentially come out of Brighton station & turn first left down the hill or if you drive , turn up at the level near St Peters church on the green area. You'll find a car park at the back of the staion nr Trafalgar Place http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?client=safari&rls=en&q=Norfolk+Place+brighton&oe=UTF-8&redir_esc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=Norfolk+Pl,+Brighton,+East+Sussex+BN1+2PF&gl=uk&ei=5O0S7HJHdmK4gaV9NHGDg&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CAgQ8gEwAA here's a map Both areas are good, though different Anyway what ever you do.... Enjoy ! W**F

Hmmmmmmm.....Interesting ? I was on another forum, a "car" one, all dull & boring of course Though they have this "PANIC BUTTON " option on there I personally would quite like this option here on the EDF Anyone else ...? W**F Read below ---------------------------------------------------- Panic Button - On/Off Switch The Panic Button is an icon that resides at bottom right hand corner of every post. If your Boss (or maybe the Wife) turns up, clicking the Panic icon immediately sends you to another web site of your choice. Select the appropriate button to turn this feature On or Off. Off On This is the URL (web address) of the web site that is jumped to when you click on the Panic Button. Make sure you use the full address including the http://. For example: http://www.Google.co.uk

Well I did think.. It was "quite different" until an African guy I know said it wasn't unusual where he lived & in some parts of Italy it's OK too apparently So as long as nobody shouts " Cut, we are going to need to shoot that scene from the top again folks " then it's fine by me Of course the usual etiquette should still be observed like... "No posed photo's with the stiff" or "Free commemorative T-shirts to go with the box set DVD at ?29.99" Honestly though, I think it's just as odd filming your child being born, all that blood & guts.....bleeeaaachh Each to their own though... Call me when he's out driving , I'll stay in I mean 17 years old, can he even operate a washing machine or make toast with out setting off the smoke alarm... ? Still "statistically you are in more danger in your own home" Which is comforting W**F
