  3. Mike - I am slightly doubtful now due to work, but will do my best.
  4. There's just no pleasing some people.
  5. Had a nice betting win on Brown Panther there...Michael Owen's horse. Unfortunaltey I didn't pick it in the fantasy racing. Had the runner up.
  6. For Otta...."BT Sports to show the Stevie G. Testimonial & other LFC friendlies"
  7. It's understandable to be frustrated or even downright angry if your top player is going elsewhere. I don't think Tottenham wanted to sell but players are changeable, even fragile and if you can sell at top dollar when the player is hot, then most businessman will probably do that. For Bale himself, he may not have wanted away, but if he had defiantly said he was not interested it would never have happened. Its a great opportunity for him, although very sad for Spurs.
  8. We think the game is still alive. We have lost one of the last 25 games at home on our Astroturf? Jorgen Lennartsson Elfsborg coach Oh dear...early Champions League exit beckons if Celtic cant get at least a draw on bleedin astroturf.
  9. They probably don't sell much. The cheaper prices are presumably supermarket prices so go there if price is king. But Boss Man wines is best for quality wine at good prices.
  10. Thought as much.

  12. Spain is now one of the highest taxed countries in Europe for high earners.
  13. Not quite Gareth Bale territiory but...Celtic move to replace Hooper with Ajax's Derk Boerrigter. He will be in the squad for the champions league qualifier tonight against Elfsborg - he looks like a good signing to me for less than we sold Hooper for. Ajax (second period) On 14 April 2013, coming on as a substitute for Christian Poulsen in the 75th minute, Derk Boerrigter scored the match winning goal against rivals PSV Eindhoven in the 77th minute off a long assist from his teammate Christian Eriksen, in which he challenged PSV's defender Erik Pieters and then shot the ball past Boy Waterman the keeper, only two minutes after having been brought in. The match ended 2?3 for Ajax, and proved to be a crucial win for the Amsterdammers, with only four matches left to play in the season. Ajax topped the table at that stage with 66 points, leaving PSV in third place position with only 60 points in the title pursuit.[12] On 13 July 2013 Derk Boerrigter scored a hat-trick in the first half of a 1?5 win over his former club RKC Waalwijk, in a pre-season friendly encounter scoring in the 17', 21' and 28' minutes, helping his side to a 1?3 lead.[13] Celtic On 30 July 2013, Boerrigter signed a four-year deal with Celtic.[14]

  15. I hope you are right Jag. Would be good for the EPL to have some more Bale next season.

  19. I'll be there too hopefully.
  20. I ran into HMB Saturday night in Franklins, not a happy bunny.
  21. The recent coverage of high rentals was enlightening to me - many young people interviewed complaining that they pay half their net pay per month in rental... on, wait for it.... a one bed flat, most likely in an upmarket area of SW London. Well sorry but when I was young/single I rented an affordable room in a house share. If you want the luxury of a one bed flat, demand you own space etc, then I'm not sure your entitled to a lot of sympathy if that means you have to cut back elsewhere. I understand that for couples and families its different.
  22. LondonMix. As I said above if the car is only a means of transporting goods from the burglary then they are attracting a lot more attention to themselves getting out of a Porsche. Seems ridiculous to me. CBB. Did it ever turn up ?
  23. World War 11. Jeez I have been asleep longer than I thought.
