  2. Offering your advice for free. Seems a very odd strategy to me. Good luck with it though.
  3. I saw MP today. Good to see he exists in real life and not just on curry nights.
  4. I'm unbeaten at that table on Forum drinks nights....:))
  5. My bet for the final is All Blacks v losing finalists.
  6. If there is no feeling in it.... Im sure someone will have it.
  7. Reds are ok. I have a lovely red haired daughter, with the personality to match.

  9. Luckily I did not see that tip in time "Barry"
  10. Things have changed a bit since the 50s. Councils need to look to the future not the past(or passed).

Disappointed to see the Gers are just as diligent under Ally as they were under Walter. I guess we can put the loss down to our tough European committments though, which Rangers have been spared......?
  14. Celtic to beat the Gers by about 5 today....
  15. Tommy did ok. They were all magnificent. I backed them at 70 to 1 to win the whole thing. Just for fun really.
  16. When the Ireland forwards are in this mood they can control games. Trouble is its quite rare recently. Paul O Connell interview was very low key afterwards which shows they are not getting ahead of themselves. Looks like Wales as possible quarter final opponents if Ireland win the group. Also looks like Ireland should have done enough already to get through even if they were to lose to Italy which is significantly better than 4 years ago.

I remember Kevin Keegan scoring a glancing header to win at Wembley. I watched it on tv as a 10 year old, sitting perched on the edge of the fireplace, because my parents had visitors round, I had to keep the sound down. When I jumped up to celebrate I got told off for supporting England.... by both my parents and the visitors. But my hero worship of Kevin Keegan knew no bounds... Europe Group 2 [italy] 13.06.76 Helsinki Finland 1-4 England 1.ITALY 6 5 0 1 18- 4 10 22.09.76 Helsinki Finland 7-1 Luxembourg 2.England 6 5 0 1 15- 4 10 13.10.76 London England 2-1 Finland 3.Finland 6 2 0 4 11-16 4 16.10.76 Luxembourg Luxembourg 1-4 Italy 4.Luxembourg 6 0 0 6 2-22 0 17.11.76 Roma Italy 2-0 England 30.03.77 London England 5-0 Luxembourg 26.05.77 Luxembourg Luxembourg 0-1 Finland 08.06.77 Helsinki Finland 0-3 Italy 12.10.77 Luxembourg Luxembourg 0-2 England 15.10.77 Torino Italy 6-1 Finland 16.11.77 London England 2-0 Italy 03.12.77 Roma Italy 3-0 Luxembourg The killer result was Italy beating Finland 6-1....which England could not match.
  25. In the seventies, England had 6 players from Liverpool. Liverpool won the European Cup and England were still crap.
