  2. If I am in the company of somebody who I have spent some time with and I want another drink ask what are you drinking and they reply "A double Whisky please" but only have a half pint glass in front of them HonaloochieB Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I agree CS, it's most disagreeable. 3. eduardo wins appeal. Uefa have no balls.
  4. Educating Rita Now that I am the age now, which Julie Walters was then, she looks quite nice.

  6. Forumites form big circle round east dulwich - each turns 90 degrees and pats next person on back..

Did she predict England would win the world cup in just a decade's time and that Spurs would be the first team to win the Double? Did she say what she thought of the schools? Or did it say - why have you removed this panelling, it cost my Mum and Dad a lot of money and they thought it looked really nice.

Robbie Fowler's line > snorting was at least funny. If you're going to do > it, make it witty. Even the Rangers fans did not like that one - an englishman making a joke of their flute playing.
  9. Poor BBW. I for one believe him. DM is not happy that someone else might be stealing her persona and being quite good at it. Although DM was the "original and best" (a bit like Jacobs crackers).
  10. The ginger word is not used anymore Atila. Gingerism is the new racism, don't do it.

  12. Nice, but comes with bad weather it seems.
  13. Have a good one Quids. You kept that quiet. Will buy you a beer next opportunity.
  14. Gary Megson says "its great to be flying back with 3 points". Bolton to Portsmouth - Who does that flight, Ryanair? - can't imagine there's much demand. Are there no team coaches and card schools anymore?
  15. I'd agree with that redjam - nursery should be about children being happy and well looked after.
  16. Eh - no response PGC suggests she might still be busy....?

Was that celebration at the Bell End Anna? (Maybe you intended that joke in your post Anna, in which case apologies for labouring your humour.)
  18. It could have been intentional Sharon, I just don't think you can be sure - hes such a lanky big foot. Have just seen Paul Scholes' second booking and thought that was harsh too. He seemed to be trying to pull out of the contact.
  19. Adebayor is going to be in trouble. Have just seen his celebration on MOTD and some Arsenal fans were absolutely furious. His stamp on Van Persie - I'm not sure was intentional - Van persie has made a statement on the Arsenal website calling it "mindless and malicious". I don't think that's helpful, surprised Arsenal have sanctioned that comment on their site. Ironic Alan Shearer on MOTD saying how bad it was.
  20. Eh - don't meet that someone again Hal. That's my advice.
  21. Yes - they missed Arshaven today - and I still think they have a reasonable chance but Chelski keep winning and look very strong. Arsenal 9 points adrift of Chelski already - and I guess on what we have seen so far they are not likely to be good enough, but have looked at their games for next couple of months and I reckon they might now go on a good run. Very early days and too many people decide too early who might win what is a marathon. Man United it seems are still a good team (surprise).
  22. James Barber is the funniest of them all. His threads are really good value.
  23. .
  24. I never watch the Proms but watched it tonight, the BBC 4 version as it was from my mum's home town of Lisburn. I really enjoyed it esp James Galwey. Good to see it was not raining in Northern Ireland, thats quite rare this year from what I hear.

Don't you know LB a sense of humour will not get a man anywhere with a girl. A girlfriend/wife is the only person in a man's life who does not find him funny. That's my experience anyway - these women train themselves to roll their eyes rather than laugh - they get so good at it that it becomes an automatic response to even the funniest things. Its an amazing skill. My wife is really good at it.
