  1. Contracted or otherwise - he should not be paid with licence fee money.
  2. Oh - it seems there were no Masters comments last year! C'mon Rory. Grand Slam beckons - but I have a feeling that when these things are built up too much....... etc.

  4. Sorry - no curry can come between me and the US Masters. :)
  5. It was a general comment Jeremy. (ie not aimed at anyone in particular)
  6. Well - it will take Arsenal and MU to both beat Chelsea in the upcoming matches to make it interesting.
  7. Most of Louisa's character is tongue in cheek - get a life. Most of the interesting people get banned eventually.

  9. And a leaving party at Le Moulin.
  10. 13.6 this morning. Taking a long breather before stage two. Had a bit of a hectic socialising calendar for the last couple of months with rugby, horses, easter etc. But now you have asked - I'll start again.
  11. You'll be back Louisa. Controversy is never dull.
  12. Hisar is good for somewhere to go with the kids, or for a beer soaker on a night out with mates. It has its uses and the staff are very friendly. I like it. I'm sure there is better if you want to search across London, but we are talking local comparisons to Koz and I think it was better than Koz, hence it has won out.

  14. Good game last night. England would have been happy with the result if it were an away qualifier - but what happened in the first half? Excellent goal from Townsend. I though Rooney merited his place and Kane played quite well too, and v closely marked. Midfield remains England's quandary - confusion reigned in the first half. England need a David Batty.

Agree - they need more of that type of match - especially away from home, gives a much better idea of where you are.

  18. If its a good Italian I'll be pleased to have it on the Lane. Didn't really like Koz, prefer Hisar. A good Italian with a varied menu will be do well no doubt. Personally I like "small chains" - they have at least a record of success without the "big chain shame"

Perhaps Early Bird pre show deals. Local businesses are reacting to the Cinema foxy. I know the Palmerston is planning an early evening pre-cinema fixed price meal. like a pre theatre.
  20. I think Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have strong chances of qualifying which with England it could be a clean sweep. Long way to go though. Would be nice to have them all in.
  21. True - but the manager doesn't have to be English. I understand you would prefer that he is English but when the resources are particularly low its the time to look elsewhere (again). Redknapp's tax case was the undoing of his chances, even though he was "innocent". Only the judge and Harry's dog thought he was innocent. Will be interesting to see if England can do better come the finals - i'll be supporting them, but not too expectantly.
  22. Best qualified by reason of his recent achievements at Liverpool? I think his managerial record is mixed and was also surprised Liverpool appointed him. Playing Italy might help, but a friendly is a friendly.
  23. Hodgson might be as inept in the Euro finals as he was in the WC. Happy for him to prove some people wrong but if I were England FA he'd never have got the job in the first place. Also, it's not helpful for England to have no challenges in qualifying. Always good to qualify though! Unlike Ireland.
  24. IT Crowd now - I'm a bit slow on the uptake.
  25. Jeez - once in three months. I use them about 3 times a week. Good advice from the Fox though - makes sure its clear who you are talking to, these scam calls are common ways of obtaining security information.
