  1. Super final so far. Argies defence and midfield are a proper test for the Germans.

Excellent. A great > script and really well acted, (especially cooking > the ragu). You'll love it. Great! Good to have a "real person" review.
  3. Bah Jah
  4. As I said at the start of this tournament a great world cup needs a good final and that we haven't had one imo since 1986. It may be a good omen that we have the same teams.
  5. Fast attack v slow attack i'd say AM
  6. To be fair its a few years ago since you last bothered the school gates Jah.
  7. I have tickets for Skylight with Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan for later this month - very exciting as great reviews. Saw Fathers and Sons at the Donmar a couple of weeks ago - that was good.
  8. It was good while it lasted. I'll miss him, he was amazing last season.
  9. Can you do an idiots guide to that post in two sentences. I don't have the time to read all of that. Thx. Only jestjng. All clear. :) But I don't think you should imply you are a charity until the charities commission has accepted you as a charity. Until you achieve this, some people will remain sceptical. Your name looks like a stolen cast off from Help for Heroes and in not sure if it's misleading.
  10. If Liverpool was in London they would have got im.

Ha. I imagine quite a few of the defenders and defensive midfielders in this game would say they had the gane of their lives in keeping the likes of Messi, Robben and VP completely quiet on the biggest stage of all - in the hope that as a result of these great performances a world cup final would be the reward.
  12. Messi v Maradona, he hasn't quite done it yet.
  13. Some great defensive performances so far. Not something we see a lot of with England. I'm giving my MOTM to the Dutch number 2. He's been brilliant so far.
  14. I'm quietly enjoying the game, a bit cagey in the first half but midfielders and defenders are playing well. Very tight but not without quality. Messi nothing so far.
  15. I'm coming round to the idea of supporting Germany. Don't have any reason to support anyone else, but they appear at least to be non cynical and attack minded, cant bear the thought of Robben with the trophy, so hope for a Germany v Argie final.
  16. Sometimes the value of a captain shines through and Brazil missed their captain massively last night. Brazil came into the tournament talking of a strong defence, ironically, and missing a key figure at centre back can leave a big hole for any team. But looking at why he wasn't there, he cynically ran across the Columbian keeper who was trying to clear the ball long with Brazil on the back foot at 2-1 up, and deserved his booking I thought.
  17. Tonight was little about Germany's strength but more about Brazils weakness. Germany on top form no doubt but they start from scratch in the final and must forget tonight. Brazil, I don't believe they would have gotten through against Columbia without ref weakness. The same weakness in dealing with Brazil thuggery in first half led to Columbian thuggery in second half and Naymar gone. No real sympathy for Brazil as not a top team.
  18. It depends on what model the shop is operating but some of these clothes shops pay you for clothes and still generate huge profits. You hand in your bulk clothes and get a payment by weight of clothes given in. The clothes go to charities in return for payment from the charity by the tonne. Hence the charities benefit from cheap clothes but the business itself is not a charity and makes huge amounts of money if run efficiently. PS: don't know if clothes for causes operates in this way, so ill pass on that one.

  21. ?It?s becoming a true, proactive virtual assistant. ? Once this capability is further refined and expanded, you can expect subtle nudges and reminders that guide you through your day. ? Although a face recognition feature has been disabled and banned by Google for now, it?s likely that Glass will eventually tell you the name of people you encounter, and remind you about your personal history with that person Is anyone in favour of this technology ?
  22. The confederation said in its statement that ?the prognosis is excellent? for Neymar, but only if the injury is given the proper amount of time to heal. ?Rushed measures put at risk his future life as an athlete?, the statement added. The Brazil team doctor, Jos? Luiz Runco, said Neymar is expected to be sidelined for about 45 days. He has returned home from the team?s training camp to recover. ?Let?s not create an illusion to the Brazilian people,? Runco told Globo TV. ?There isn?t the smallest possibility for Neymar to play on 13 July if Brazil reaches the final.?
  23. And the public schools themselves are presumably potentially exposed, perhaps if they are shown to have failed to take proper steps to prevent abuse happening under their own roof?
  24. I agree the PL should pay. But I don't think England's lack of success is anything to do with the quality of children pitches.
  25. MPs and football don't mix imo.
