Cards/Mail being folded through letterbox

Put a note on the letter box "Please do no fold my post, if it does not fit in the letter box, please knock or ring the bell". -
The meaning of a Christmas Wreath I never thought about what the meaning of the Christmas wreath is, where it originated, how it relates to Christmas and the true meaning of Christmas. Boy, was I surprised when I started researching the meaning of the Christmas wreath. I always thought they were just a pretty ornament for the holiday season. I was entirely wrong! Here's a simple article that summarizes the essence of what the Christmas wreath signifies: eternity, everlasting life, growth, Jesus's blood and the circle of life that is forever. Since the circle has no beginning and no end, many believe it represents God's love for us, which has no beginning and no end. In other words, God loves us through thick and thin, regardless of what daily challenges we happen to be struggling through. Who else can love us with no strings attached, wanting nothing from us except to Love Thy neighbor as Thyself and To love God with all your heart and mind? The holly branches have red berries and red thorns. The thorns represent the "thorn on Jesus' crown" while the berries show the blood Jesus shed for us when he was crucified. Evergreens are used in the Christmas wreath and live through winter, which some people say shows the strength of life. Others say that the evergreen stays green all year round and represents hope that we all need to live as joyously as possible. Knowing just a little about the meaning of the Christmas wreath helps us understand and better remember the true meaning of Christmas. It's amazing to think how much significance is represented in the meaning of Christmas symbols like the wreath. How does knowing about Christmas wreaths empower children? The purpose of Childrens Educational Books is Inspiration Empowering Children, to nurture kid's hearts as well as to feed their minds. Learning about wreaths allows kids from backgrounds and cultures who, like me, know nothing about wreaths, to learn a little, and thus open their horizons.

I never knew that lol. they should put a sign up telling customers that's the proceedure. It was Aldi, Loz, I also asked her what the rush was for. and if the shop was about to close. I thouhgt those benches were so you could have a rest after going round their shop a dozen times as their shop aint laid out very well either. it's the first time I've ever been in an Aldi and maybe the last. -

I was rushed through the till in the supermarket yesterday and the cashier started serving the next customer before I had packed my shopping in the bags and she had given me the receipt, didn't offer to help me pack shopping and was very abrupt. Not going back there in a hurry. Reminded me of the days of "Victor Value". No polite customer service, just rude rude rude. (mind you, the man behind me was very handsome, she probably couldn't wait to serve him) -
The migraine trust were calling out for volunteers to research into migraines, I would have put myself forward but it put me off as they said that they would induce a migraine on each volunteer and then give them pain relief afterwards, I did not go for it. Also they said that it would not help me with my migraines and I could not see the results, it would be a general thing to help others. I hate that, when they want to put you through that trauma to research a specific problem but it wouldn't help the person in front of them.

I don't understand that if you have no wifi you can still get on the internet, and to this forum unless you are using someone elses.

How did you know I had a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich? ploberman, it was in fact salmon and cucumber, with the crusts cut off. I was only asking a question to see if anyone knew of that particular "immi Enfo Van", yes there was a cafe nearby, probably a toilet stop on their way to the Chunnel. ploberman Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Well done Lavender27..... > > You stoked the fire THEN had a cup of tea and your > bacon sandwich! -

Immigration Investigation Van (last Tuesday)

On Tuesday I saw officers and a civilian getting out of an Immigration Investigation Van on Crystal palace Road. I've never seen one of those before. Does anyone know what was going on? -
I am totally with you on that on e ArtfulDogger, it's just another day. It causes to much stress and running round backwards, it's special if you have children about it makes it better, but they might grow up thinking like us. Shops cash in at Christmas time, it's quite gluttonous the way our kitchens are full of food that would feed the whole of Africa. What about the rest of the year when some of us are alone, makes no difference, don't be alone at Christmas?!!! Don't be alone anytime of the year, it'sa personal choice. Go to church and praise the lord, do not pass go and do not collect ?200. Christmas should be panned out over the whole year, not just at the end of the year, then new year a week later, its to close together then nothing till the Easter bunny pops his head up. Lets all go to Bethlehem, I bet they don't have Christmas trees and santa and his elves. Humble pie for me this Christmas. Goodnight.

I cannot ball a carrot, but I could certainly carrot a ball if I was angry with him.
