Sleep training without controlled crying?
Fuschia replied to amydown's topic in The Family Room Discussion
i cosleep and bf our twins... however our minder (very experienced) managed to get them off for naps form about 7m just by rocking/cuddling and since they have had a routine of naps (first 2 a day, now one) others can get them settled by cuddling, or going in the car or buggy. -
Helen, maybe it's a forecful let down. Have you tried expressing a bit before a feed?

I think if you're worried, then call seldoc and see if they can send a culture off today (there might be no pick up till Monday) Regarding the scan, I had one in pg1 as MW wasn't sure DS1 wasn't breech. I wouldn't worry too much. -
Clare, there is a big box of lost property in Heber, we often find iur missing stuff, it's just school sweatshirts that are unnamed that go unclaimed!

By contrast Tesco policy is: "The parent and child spaces in our stores are for parents with children ONLY (child HAS to be present at the time of the shop upto the age of 5) Anyone who parks in a P&C space without a child or a blue disabled badge is infringing on store policy and can be reported. Take the registration number down of the offending car, take it to customer service and they will tannoy the driver to move the car. If the car is not moved Tesco will clamp the car and tow it away. "

Sainsburys response is shocking! Totally dismissive.

I wa sfairly go with the flow an dused to alternate solids and milk. Started with a meal at about 11.30, often out and about (I'd have an early lunchm they'd have some puree and self feed some chunks of fruit, veg) and then quite quickly added breakfast and tea. In between they'd have milk as usual. Milk in the day gradually dropped away (or so I like to think!!)

How often is she feeding? What colour is her poo? Are you feeling very engorged when she feeds... is she having both sides? The watery foremilk that collects in the breast between feeds is quite sugary and can cause wind and green poos... one solution is to make sure if she's "snacking" that all feeds in (say) a 3h period are off one side, to maximise the hindmilk. Another possibiloty could be cows milk protein allergy with the protein passing in your milk, but you giving up dairy is quite a serious undertaking and I suspect she would have symptoms far beyond wind (she is growing OK?) if that was it.

and twin trollies not all gathered together at the front of the store, but some put in each holding area. I have complained about that before to Tescos.
-
It's not easy to find a twin trolley without going in to the store, and it's never easy guiding a laden trolley, with children in it and holding your hand, across the car park as there are no pedestrian routes
-
Now imagine trying to get TWO toddlers out and find a TWIN trolley!!!!!!

A contract exists between the firefighters and the employers. In law, a contract cannot be changed without the agreement of both sides. The firefighters have not agreed to the change. Now the employers are using heavt handed tactics in moving to sack the employees to enforce the change. Now inagine yourself.... you have a contract, say, with your mortgage conpany, the company tries to force a major change to which you do not agree (change your tracker rate, say, or amend your right to repay early) when you state you wish to continue with the contract you signed up to, they state they will terminate your account. Would you be happy?

But floradix will only give you 15mg of iron, which as that study says, is "far less than in the study".. I have found a diet with plenty of dried apricots, pumpkin seeds and fortified cereals has usually been sufficient for me in pg, despite being a vegetarian.. and when my iron levels dropped naturally from about 28w, a sachet of spatone a day (very gentle supplement, just 5mg) has avoided the need for the tablets which give you constipation etc

MM, as I've said on the firefighter thread, you don't want to believe everything you read in the press. I saw the article in the Telegraph too, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/universityeducation/7981792/Quango-opposes-crackdown-on-Mickey-Mouse-degrees.html but google doesn't bear this out, have a look at the Universiry of Northampton's site. No such course is visible... http://www.northampton.ac.uk/courses/search/waste/ The far less dramatic truth, I think, is to do with places offered via clearing a few weeks back for vacancies where dual honours are possible if desired. Search hard enough and I suppose the clearng system would throw up all sorts of odd things. Not such a good story, though...
