We eat there a lot. Good value. Our children love it. The mixed meze (they do a veggy one too) at 7.50 to serve two people is very good and we also like the borek, the grilled halloumi. I'm a veggy but Mr F enjoys the mixed grill thingy. Puddings are disappointing though and it's something like ?3.50 for two little pastries!

From a mail I received "From Friday, June 11 we shall be meeting at the Kilmorie Children's Centre on Kilmorie Road, SE23 from 9.30am to 11.30am. (The children's centre is next door to Kilmorie Primary School). The group is open to any parent or carer with twins (and their siblings) aged 0 - pre school. We hope to operate throughout the year, including school holidays, and hope you will come to view the group as a regular Friday morning fixture. Please come along to what we hope will be a friendly and supportive place to meet other parents of twins in Forest Hill as well as a chance for your children to have fun and burn off a bit of energy!"

Second pregnancy: how does it compare?
Fuschia replied to supergolden88's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I am due end of Nov, currently 14w and am not showing. Hard not to worry a little bit but everything was fine at our scan not long ago. Trish, I am another Nov EDD. I also have a 7 yo boy (at Heber) and 2yo B/G twins -
That's quite early for a boy. Our little girl is having a go now (26m) but that's because she has been relaly keen. She had been doing the occasional wee or poo on the loo or potty for the last 4m, but just at the weekend qhen she had no clothes on, she did all her wees and poos in the potty on sunday so now we are going for it. With son no 1, we tried in the summer when he was 2 1/2, no joy,, he just poo'd on the floor! In the end at 2 3/4 he did it (helped by choc buttons) If it's working, you can just ditch the nappy. As soon as they get the idea and can get themselves to the potty when they need to, you need to get them into pants (cheap primark ones you just throw away if they poo) Stay at home as much as you can, take lots of spare clothes out with you when you go out. Put them in washable sandals (doodles)

Yes, have actually found some info about resuscitation in case of "unexpected apparent stillbirth" which I guess is another way of describing a baby who was Ok shortly prior to birth but who has no heartbeat/breathing when born. I think someone described this as a "flat" baby. http://fn.bmj.com/content/78/2/F112.abstract -

tor Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > and as for me being 2nd for fairlawn and you being > 7th - that's just ridiculous. (for anyone reading > this, me and prdarling live three doors away from > eachother) A computer maps the addresses and distance from the school, probably to the nearest metre! So it is quite possible if you imagine a series of very close concentric circles drawn around the school. You could both ask Lewisham how many metres they make you from Fairlawn... -

I know, it makes me cry too. One of them has since had another daughter, but I know Ella will never be forgotten. The other baby was Polly, and it was only February that she died. RIP beautiful Ella and Polly. -

Although I tend to be a bit liberal and not worry myself too much about what other people say, I do have two friends who both, awfully, lost a baby before birth. In both cases their daughters died in utero, this was discovered due to lack of movement. A scan confirmed their hearts had stopped. Both then had to be admitted, induced and give birth to their beautiful babies, knowing that there was no chance of 'resuscitation'. Both of them have described how painful it was to see a beautiful, perfect baby, not breathing, yet noone rushing to help, and coming to terms with the fact that their child would never draw breath. That is what I associate with the phrase stillbirth and I hadn't previously heard it used any other way. -
From one to two children - any tips?
Fuschia replied to Smiler's topic in The Family Room Discussion
We have a hige bath, luckily :-) And agree with Katgod, our twins lived in babygrows and often went out on the school run in their pjs! (Sometimes still do, nothing wrong with getting yourself out and to a playgroup and changing your baby/ies into their proper clothes when you arrive. I found this was a necessity sometimes if I wanted to get to twins club. Just GO!!!!! -

I did get specialist cover myself to fly and scuba dive although I have a preexisting medical condition (DVT) I found a company via google where you specify your circumstances and they get you a quote (online broker) Sorry I can't remember the name! -

It would be wise to ensure you are covered FM< in case of (perish the thought!) premature birth. -

I think babies are quite robust. Our twins bathed with me form the start, and I kept the water at a comfortable temperature for me.
