Where to buy trad shaving soap and dish locally
ruffers replied to sanity girl's topic in The Lounge
If you can't find it locally try Liberty, downstairs. -
Not sure how far that would get, does the smell of smoke contravene it being a smoke free environment? If I've read this thread right there's no suggestion the flat is full of smoke. Also there's a mention of the landlord not enforcing a smoke free clause, do we actually know that's there or are we assuming? I don't smoke myself but am even starting to feel sorry for smokers. They can't smoke at the football, can't smoke at the pictures, can't smoke in lots of outside areas, and now we're after them in their homes...

So when Man City really need a win Robinho and Adebayor on the bench, Bellamy and Santa Cruz start - says it all about who Hughes thinks he can rely on. And the club's making an announcement at 7.30 with Mancini allegedly at the game.

I went in this morning and while I was parked outside I went to Badger Bakers for chocolate croissants, no plain croissants in there so went to Sainsburys for those, the cafe opposite for a panettone and as Sainsburys had no Guardians I went next door for that. Two of those shops I've never been in before so well done Sainsburys for boosting the whole area..

If there's no increase in traffic I'd think Sainsbury's would be calling it a bit of a failure...

I speak to my boy once a week or so who lives away with his mum and today he told me for the first time "You sound like grandad". Oh well.

Now I'm quite clear about this. Assuming all are perfectly done to my very specific requirements then the ranking has to be thus - Poached Scrambled Fried Boiled Not that interesting a thread but it matters. Possibly.

I think we're getting to the nub of what exactly constitutes poaching. Despite being a strong proponent of the cling film method I concede that technically we're just boiling it in an artificial shell, although when done correctly it presents as a nicely poached egg. I've seen eggs poached in a cup of water in a microwave which to me fulfils the technical definition ie the item is cooked in contact with boiling water. Let us know how you go and be careful - exploding yokes get messy. The voice of experience there.

daizie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That looks nice, i wonder if it was cooked in a > griddle pan :) Doesn't look like it, and no need really. Just a hot, heavy based frying pan and do all the stuff which has been suggested. Although I don't think we've discussed which steak to get? Sirloin for me.

Hey Barry Are the Oyster updates mentioned above the reason so many readers at London Bridge aren't working? Hopefully it'll be fixed then. Just as an update the lights are all still working at East Dulwich as well. I move back to Forest Hill this weekend - is that yours?
