I've been reading this thread with interest as someone with a deep childhood fear of dogs and what is now an adult respect or shall we say wariness. Why's it OK to scare me in a park? -

I'd be happier if they'd spent exactly no pounds whatsoever reporting on his self centred little adventure. And I think to be fair "the bbc decided" is probably "the bbc were advised that in order to avoid exposure to being sued they were advised that the least risky option was" Agree it's blx though.

Wonderland - A Pete Tong club night A paedophile investigation A magazine launched by a toff on Dragon's Den and now a thingy on the telly. I get confused.

I very very rarely lol at the telly, but last night I did at Gavin and Stacey. Outnumbered with the might Hugh Dennis was also outstanding. Fry on the other hand is just starting to become a caricature of himself it seems to me, especially on twitter. I'd be delighted if he disappeared for a year and then we could all rediscover him.

And the lights seem to have settled down now as well so all good. As of two weeks time I'll be moving back so Forest Hill's my station but thanks for all you've done on ED, the speaker announcement one is the key now. Genuinely I didn't realise there were announcements for a while and that's not standing miles down the platform, maybe two thirds? And (jokingly) (I think) if the 8.05 comes every day for a fortnight at 8.08, shall we just call it the 8.08? cheers ruffers Nice.

Car left running stolen on Friern Road under owner's nose

If I'm stupid enough to leave the car running with the keys in it. -
No need to get in a lather over it, it's Fairy enough. As long as another shop doesn't go as these things come in Pears. I'll get my coat.

I think somewhere in this thread, ages ago, someone asked if the estate agents ad for what were new flats on the way up to platform 2(?) (away from London) could be got rid of. For whatever reason that's now become a petty annoyance every day - can it go? NB Barry - Please take the fact that I'm worrying about such a minor thing as a testimonial of sorts to all the good stuff you've been doing!

Will you be rummaging?

Not sure how this is google mail's fault?

You want apps but not iphone... have a look at Android Phones eg HTC Hero, excellent. N97 Mini isn't great by most accounts.

Well there's me for a start.

Top man as ever Barry. Just a little note the light by the steps down at East Dulwich is still not working. Not disastrous as it is but if the other goes we're back to pitch black.

The Nappy Lady Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Each to their own. I'm not 'incensed' about it > Domitianus, but I consider myself to be a > responsible member of the community....so I clear > up after my own dog, etc etc And I think this is pitched about right. A neighbour of my parents used to walk two hundred yards down the street so his dog could crap outside their house on the verge and my kids kept stepping in it when I parked there. A gentle observation to him and he stopped. I live on Melford Road, where this was a problem maybe a year ago. The council posted notices and painted the signs on the pavement and it got much better, an option which readers of this thread are now aware of. Not the end of the world no, but if it becomes frequent the cumulative effect is significant.

Always worth contesting, I've got off them because the form was filled out wrong.
