  1. London 0 Hull 4 That's all I know.
  2. The former definately. As much as I love all things Antipodean, I prefer my seafood local. We live on an island. There's no excuse.
  3. Crikey - I go away for 6 weeks and this thread is still here? Enough with the Mott the Hoople talk - please stay on topic. Now, back to HonaloochieB...
  4. Where did you get that hat? Where did you get that tile? Isn't it a nobby one and just the proper style? I should like to have one, just the same as that! Wherever I go, they shout Hello - where did you get that hat?!
  5. I loved that Honda Deisel ad from a couple of years ago.. "Hate something, change something..." one. Found myself whistling it for weeks. And those Boddington ads from the '90's were fab... "Eh, Tarquin!" But don't get me started on Chanel ads... that Nicole Kidman one... Aaaagh. And remember the Egoiste one from few years ago? Even more Aaaagh!! However, the Smash Martians... a classic from my childhood.:))
  6. Shame on you HB and your shameless hustling on that other thread! I'm sure if Mr MacGabhann wants to shower you with accolades, then he will do so in his own time. Meanwhile you'll just have to make do with me & Kalamity Kel ;-)

That other Miles was prone to a bit of crankiness too if I recall. But you were gentlemanly enough to duly apologise to your fellow forumite! Good luck with your endeavour & enjoy your "fame" at the next EDF drinks!! If I wasn't already gallivanting elsewhere on Feb 6th, I'd try to be brave enough to come along :-$
  8. Hey HB, I'm still lovin' ya! ;-)

  10. Ooooh, nice one! In that case, I'm like Anna - only without the "issues", or the Scottishness, or the other stuff... As for that Milly, she was insipid. 11. Miles - somehow I see you as a Jack Davenport type..... Good for you for having the cojones to start this thread and go to Forum drinks. Sounds like it was fun. I salute your style!
  12. Oooooh, you are a Rake. But I'd rather a Hendricks, thanks.
  13. Dear Mr Local Hack I can assure you HB is not me. Just how narcissistic would that be? LLT ps: I heard a rumour that there'll be a flash mob at The Phoenix tonight - that'll make a good story. Check it out!
  14. To answer the OP - an alternative is Libretto & Daughters on Woodvale. Try them.
  15. Just a little bit... surely I'm not alone?
