Thanks for the post - we did the " figure of eight" walk today and the bluebells (and wild garlic) were fantastic! -

A new coffee shop has opened up at 106 Lordship Lane this morning - doesn't seem to have a name yet but the doors are open and there are cakes in the window!

Spotted a shopping delivery robot crossing the road outside M&S at lunchtime and trundling up Lordship Lane followed by two minders. http://www.wired.co.uk/article/starship-skype-delivery-robot-autonomous-shopping

It was definitely working last week - I posted a letter in it on Wednesday and it arrived at its destination on Thursday! The next collection label was saying "Wednesday" when I posted my letter - maybe the collection on Saturday didn't take place or, if it did, the postman forgot to change the label!

Calcot is supposed to be very nice - in the Cotswolds, has a spa and set up for kids as well - so seems to tick all the boxes. Calcot http://www.calcot.co/

Property Management Company - also Freehold Company Secretary
Carrie replied to Jules-and-Boo's topic in The Lounge
You can get a copy of the lease for your flat directly from the Land Registry - you don't need the Property Management Company to provide this to you. You can get a copy of the company return which will list both shareholders and directors of the company from Companies House. -

Thanks ianr - I followed your suggestions - it does seem to be a problem with that particular email account - I have switched email addresses and it is all working perfectly again.

Hi Admin I used to get email notifications whenever I received a new private message. For some reason this is no longer happening (although I don't think I have ticked or unticked any boxes) and I have missed some messages. I have checked my profile and it says email notification of new private messages is enabled so not sure what I need to do to make sure that I get an email. Can you help?

Parking around East Dulwich station
Carrie replied to Fitzgeraldo's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Having lived on Oglander Road (at the station end) for the last 16 years I don't think the parking situation has substantially deteriorated during that period - we did not need a CPZ when it was proposed a few years back and we do not need one now. More often than not we can park either outside our house or a few houses away. When we can't park on Oglander then we can park just around the corner Everthorpe Road. -
Any advice for child with travel sickness please?
Carrie replied to PohSuan's topic in The Family Room Discussion
If you have an old baby wipe box then you can line it with a carrier bag (from bitter experience check that the carrier does not have any holes first!) or use a nappy sack - slightly easier for a vomiting child to have a more stable target than a loose bag. Make sure there is fresh air in the car, wind down the window a bit, and try to make sure that the child does not look out of the side window and looks straight ahead instead. -
I would like to second this recommendation. We had continuing issues with our underfloor heating which no-one seemed able to explain and it seemed it was going to cost a substantial amount of money to get it fixed. Lee turned up and fixed the problem within minutes for an extremely reasonable sum and we have been warm ever since. We would definitely call on him again if we had issues with our heating.
