  1. If it is a red sandal and in the Oglander Road area then it is probably mine - pesky fox cubs came into the house and stole two pairs of Sandals on Sunday night - I retrieved one pair relatively unharmed from the garden yesterday but the red ones were nowhere to be found. Unfortunately they have returned the severely chewed up right foot Josef Seibel Sandal to the middle of the lawn this morning! I have had to bin it - so if it is my left foot sandal that you have then just chuck it away! Thanks for posting though - it could have been a very happy reunion!
  2. Our schuco bi-fold doors have somehow come off the runner at the bottom so we can?t open them. Has anyone ever had repairs carried out to bi-fold doors - if so who did you use? Not sure where to start!
  3. Similarly the owner of a second charge can also repossess but they have to pay off the first charge first before they can use any money to pay off their own charge. The existence of a second charge does not prejudice the security of the first lender which is why Barclays stance is so stupid! Realistically Dulwich Estate would be highly unlikely to ever try to repossess a Property, they register a charge to ensure that they will eventually get the money that they are owed when the property is sold or the owner of the property remortgages.
  4. If the Estate charge is unpaid the Estate do have a right to register a charge against the property but it would rank below any mortgage currently registered on the property so this is a complete overreaction by the lender whose security in the Property would be unaffected by any charge registered by the Estate. I have also had a case where clients had to change lenders due to this misunderstanding of the situation, very frustrating!
  5. They were giving out wallcharts with the Evening Standard tonight if you can get hold of one of those

  8. You can order online from www.milkandmore.co.uk - delivered by Dave?s dairy but you can update and cancel orders online (with rather more success than notes in bottles)
  9. If you are going to go to the obvious attractions e.g the Coliseum then a good tip is to actually buy the tickets at the Palatine Hill ( the ticket covers the Palatine Hill, the Forum and the Coliseum) - much shorter queues at the Palatine Hill and then you can just swan into the Coliseum bypassing the massive queues. And if you are near the Coliseum this is somewhere else to visit http://www.culturaltravelguide.com/about-rome-san-clemente-church Another good tip I got was to go to the Vatican at lunchtime - the queues tend to be much shorter then as everyone else is having lunch (the tour groups tend to go in the morning) - there is also a quick way down to St Peter's Basilica from the Sistine Chapel which is taken by the tour groups (and not available to general punters - the security guards are pretty hot at stopping the general public from using it)but you have to be prepared to hang around and tag onto the back of a tour group that you look like you fit in with(i.e not Japanese tourists or surly teenagers). The general route takes you out of a door on the left but the tour groups go out of a door on the right which takes you down steps and then round into the basilica without having to queue up for security checks again - you do miss seeing the famous staircase that way but might be a sacrifice worth making!
  10. Loans became available for Masters from September 2016
  11. Someone came into the Glazer Delmar office on Northcross Road on Saturday to get some documents certified - we think it was a Mr Nicholls - and he left a document behind by mistake. If anyone knows a Mr Nicholls who owns a boxer dog and lives locally to Northcross Road please could they let him know that Glazer Delmar may have something that belongs to him! Thanks
  12. Does anyone know whether any of the local Christmas Tree suppliers has any Fraser Firs in stock this year. We got a little belt one from the guy at the EDT last year but he doesn?t have any this year.
  13. Nico came round on a few hours notice quite late this evening to fix our toilet. Cheerful, efficient and much appreciated as we now have a working toilet again. Would definitely recommend him.
  14. My daughter had her initial assessment there as a child (aged 7) but then also had subsequent assessments there pre-GCSE and pre-A Level in order to qualify for extra time in the exams so they can definitely deal with teenagers.

  16. What about Suzanne James' new place - Number 57 on Northcross Road. http://www.suzannejames.co.uk/fifty-seven.asp

  18. Yama Momo do a pre-cinema menu between 5.30-7.30 - you have to give the table back after an hour but if it is a quick meal before going to see a film that should not be too much of an issue.
  19. The Co-Op chemist on Lordship Lane has a photo machine
