  1. this is all causing more pharm than good. etc (edited coz i can't type)
  2. A beautiful game site promoting milk. Sounds odd but is amazing. http://www.gettheglass.com/
  3. Apparently the adobe creative suite is retailing for an amazing $269, shame it only runs on a zx spectrum.
  4. as has been pointed out by a few people on several occasions recently the issue (and thread title) are farcically misleading so maybe should have been in the lounge from the start.
  5. If you're against public dealing how do you distribute your wears mr e?
  6. I know it won't happen but a Drogba and van Persie front line would be sweet. (If they could stay upright)
  7. I love getting the ones from the US midwestern bank, er hello? It has to be said they are more realistic looking than they used to be, so much so I told my own bank to get lost before realising they were trying to contact me. How we laughed, then I told them to refund my charges and the laughter stopped. Am proper sick of Viagra offers and share deals.
  8. I like the sentiment snorky but petitions are useless. The tend to be exercises in helping the disenfranchised to feel engaged. Unlike the angry mob locals, people on the receiving end of petitions normally understand that it is possible to have a range of views on any given subject, that's why they're appointed to make decisions. That's not to say it's a good thing that petitions are ignored, just that they are.
  9. launch a joint action alright. sit their arses down with a pack o king skins and get to work. might calm them down a touch.
  10. I also used to live just off Highbury Fields, Calabria Road, 10 years ago. It was a perfect place to live, I was in my mid-twenties, no kids etc. Being there made me feel part of the life of the city, vibrant and dirty. In one direction I could pop to Highbury, in the other direction lay 15 minute trips on a routemaster into town - sitting downstairs near the back on sunny spring days - bliss. I do miss the variety of good coffee places. My agenda is a little different now. I need to live somewhere which is still very much London but at lower level - physically smaller and more town-like - and less intense. ED is perfect in that respect, the parks, houses with gardens, schools and many people quite with kind of similar outlook, profession and family status means the area can feel a bit like being a member of some kind of unspoken club. I can't imagine moving from ED to elsewhere in London. ap
  11. I've not seen the petition, what's the gist/choice quotes?
  12. yes another one and I loath Senderos too!
  13. Ah, I see. I support Arsenal but the comment is nothing to do with that, just think it lame of such a well paid young fella to sport a top gun hairdo. Golden generation? No more like lead.
  14. Why do ?5 haircut comments suggest I'm a Spurs fan?
  15. McBullshitter. He is to blame with his 'I can ask no more of the lads' mutterings. Yes he f@cking can, concentrate on the game and win against inferior teams. McEricsson said he couldn't comment on the match overall as he'd have to review it's ebb and flow. What is he going on about?, is there some mystical sub-strata of analysis he can apply to watching football? That would probably be the insight he had into getting hammered 7-0 by Arsenal (when manager of Middlesbore) but still suggesting there were positives to be had. Doh! Also, Robinson's too cordial, Gerrard has a ?5 haircut, Lamps 'Lampy' Lampard is a cock, and that's it.
  16. might this be a placebo thread?
  17. It's now a dangerous thread title, suggesting danger but lacking detail.
  18. You make a good point Maurice. You know the solution though. The Government would consult on it's own consultative processes, taking advice from a wide base, westminster lobby groups staffed by ex-political researchers and consultants. Sadly I haven't written this to be a joke although it may seem to be one.
  19. I won't either.
  20. Or we could take a lead from Southwark Council and consult after making decisions.
  21. What team should McClaren inflict his 'management' on next? Bolton? Spurs?
  22. terrible people. i bet they live round here.
  23. It could break again then you would be in with that power-packed sausage computer corrector.
  24. Yes, I've heard that crack addiction tends to cause lapses in church choir attendance. Didn't the CIA try something like that in the 80's?
