  1. I've changed my mind. I'm voting McCain:

Quite brilliant, if a little disturbing. Some people, eh? Eh? EH?!

  4. Shut up the pair of you. I AM cool! Mellencamp can be forgiven his early pomp-rock dalliances and in style and body of work is pretty similar to The Boss only without the acclaim. And as for you old-man McGabhann, I was not wearing my jacket at the time of the tutting. And any tutting that occurred was aimed at the simpering punk of Tv on the radio or the oh-so-samey Streets who don't seem to have progressed in the last six years! Right, I'm off to write my next column for readers digest.
  5. Can one of you knowledgable folk fill me in on this new techno babble? What does it enable to be reviewed? I'm guessing lbw decisions are the main fodder. Or the odd grounded catch. Otherwise I can't work it out. Run outs are sent to the 3rd umpire anyways.
  6. That sounds like a particularly painful trick to attempt.
  7. Old-school (and that's with a C not a K)! But new. And then two people I saw on last week's Jules Holland show and loved: John Mellencamp - Longest Days (very Bruce Springsteen esque) SIA (see-ah) - Buttons (with possibly the most disturbing video since Sledgehammer)
  8. The Italian priest? Did you know him well Tony? How did he touch you?
  9. Ooh, thanks. Lovely. I think it looks amazing. Almost god-like. Or some modern day, Egyptian temple to Ra.
  10. After seeing it on the nocturno-box the other night I thought this was one of the most beautiful things I have seen man construct. It's a solar tower outside of Seville.

You have an endless selection of muscle bound super-heroes to choose from: http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c50/fafhrd_/he-man.jpg http://a984.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/121/s_8bcf21dee7081999fd40b62c1e565d37.jpg http://blog.capcom.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/harvey.jpg

You mean DulwichMum might not be just one person? I'd had my suspicions, the high work-rate and lack of quality control but never dared make the accusation public. Do you suppose the original (and best) DM merely chablis-ed her way to oblivion and her PR agent simply hired some union scabs to take up her mantel? Have we been deceived, and for how long?

    a joke

An elderly lady receives an e-mail from the son of a deceased (but wealthy) African general, asking whether he could transfer millions of pounds into her bank account in return for a 20% cut. All the son needs is the sort code and account number. Not realising she is the victim of a Nigerian 419 fraud, she e-mails back the details. A couple of minutes later she receives an e-mail back from the general's son: 'Icesave?!' What is this, some sort of scam?" Hat-tip: BBC News
  14. Oh Brendan, thank you. You've given me an excuse to post one of my favourite liberal propaganda videos:

BB, this merely reminds me of the famous Mrs Merton quote: (To Debbie McGee) "So, Debbie, tell me, what first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels?"
  16. *Gasp* Blasphemy Jeremy. Surely their journalistic integrity is why they were hired. Their easy-on-the-eye nature is down to stylists and make-up, no?
  17. All us men jiggle. I just presume it's just where that is cause for concern, correct?
  18. Oh crap, I dunno. I never actually think these things through before I type them. You should know by now it's just a stream of consciousness writ large. So yes, I don't agree with you. Or not.
  19. Hehehe.....Palin is the archetypal librarian from a porn film. All glasses and tied up hair. You might like this although it's not suitable for work I find myself increasingly attracted to female newsreaders and meteorologists on the BBC. And I have no idea why.

Moos Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- >It's just when I saw the Palin/Clinton programme in > particular, although it was very funny, I did > think that you could make an almost identical > programme the other way around. I agree. And for good reason. Because the Democrats haven't chosen a living corpse with ping-pong balls in his jaw AND a raving lunatic with a rifle but not a passport for their ticket. Which one is easy fodder for comedy? And that's still essentially what Stewart is - a comedian. And he makes no bones about his liberal, New York, jewish, intellectual background. And nor should he.
  21. But John Stewart is even handed in his abuse - everyone is a target. The only reason the Republicans and Bush get it more than the next is their incumbency. I think he's been fair with the election coverage. Fox News on the other hand......
  22. This gives a calorie comparison but it all depends on speed and weight. Hope it helps though.
  23. Warning: contains mild nudity and explicit abuse of the English language
  24. It would make great documentary footage. *in Attenborough voice* And here we see the growth of the female breast through the ages. No one is sure why their jiggling effect is so hypnotic on the male human but this ancient fertility ritule is thought to date back to the beginning of time itself.
  25. Whilst I'm in agreement with the pair of you woolly pinkos over the worrying use of antiterror laws to have a pop at Iceland a pop needed to be had. Those cheeky steam-bathing feckers decided to ignore international treaties and conventions and screw over a lot of public institutions. I think that deserves a response and a tough one to boot. Now where are those ICBMs?
