  1. This would also go on the "secret crushes thread" (as I had a bit of a thing for the lead singer) but how did it go sooo downhill after this: Although now I'm wondering if I'm alone in loving this? Or her?
  2. I like the fact that some people got "instructed" in religion at school whilst I was merely "educated". Neat-o.
  3. Jenkins is telling is he? Drown the snitch. Now, that was a good game.
  4. I'll be there from, err, now if anyone wants a beverage. Otherwise see you at the curry house. DC.
  5. 7 Terrible Early Versions of Great Movies
  6. Brendan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm not too happy about it either to be honest. > Exclusive clubs, secret handshakes and private > members bars the next steps could well be virgin > sacrifice and golf. Yeah, and no one wants golfers hanging around.
  7. Herbaliser - Time 2 Build No reason - just 'cos.
  8. Dunno really. Not sure what the salary is for running the world's largest free trade area but I suspect it's not even close to the respective private sector role - if you could find one that carried the same weight of responsibility and power. I can think of far worse injustices in the world of pay packets than Mandelson.
  9. You can surma-ise that I'll be there. *fetches coat*
  10. Except his idea of architecture is a twee mock-georgian pastiche. Have you actually seen Poundbury? Good grief - it's like a village of Hyacinth Buckets. And his anti-science standpoint over GM produce is ill informed naivity. And don't get me started on his biscuits.... ....but anyway, those posters outsisde ED station are quite amusing. The author has obviously found a rich benefactor to up his campaign to mail-drops.
  11. Tell him to stick it to the man PGC! Live to ride & ride to live!
  12. Bread and gravy. Crisp sandwiches. Aerosmith. Turning the heating up in winter to the extent I can just wear pants. Glenn Campbell. Scrabble.
  13. By being a rather good EU trade commissioner; and having good insight into the machinations of the global economy - which seombody was saying is quite important at the moment.
  14. I own that on vinyl. Good stuff.
  15. Only MrBen has had the delights of my pork chop and he may well have a crush on me due entirely to that. You are welcome to try Michael. Whether it stands up to your emexplery tastes or not is another matter. Refer to my apparent doppelganger for the wine biscuits combo. I'm feigning ignorance to such finery.
  16. Nice one Sir Jah. How about: Hopeton Lewis - Take it easy
  17. I might Grow a Mo for No
  18. Peckhamgatecrasher Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Alan Rickman - swoon. Sorry, wrong thread. Aye, but only as Hans Gruber.
  19. *Bob* you sound like a man waiting for the magic wand of fame to point in his direction. Has the cult of celebrity avoided your talented piano doodlings so far? The shame. The shame.
  20. A mature version of the Arctic Monkey's: Milburn - What Will You Do...
  21. Hehe...it was the "photosynethesis in the gut" that I always loved. Photosynthesis requires light you stupid dragon. Dara O'Brien once said that in Ireland, growing up as a Catholic, he was told all Protestants looked like Gillian McKeith - haggard and miserable - brilliant!
  22. Jarhead. Mmm, yes he was good. Although the book is better (*yawns*) Well for my two cents I love Donnie Darko - especially the great soundtrack - and am with Jeremy on the time travel/parrallel universes explanation. He allows himself to die to save his girlfriend. Withnail is also legendary. I'm with Keef on the Pixies though. *whispers and points in Sean's direction* - "Keef, maybe it's a generational thing - you know what these old folk are like..."
  23. Richard Littlejohn Piers Morgan Melanie Philips - all for the obvious reasons Geri Halliwell - I think it's the desparation to be loved that grates. Bono - Take off those fecking sunglasses (oh and The Edge - for being called The Edge) and get out of my tv. Gillian McKeith - I'm on a FaceBook group that pledges to force-feed the witch a mars-bar if I ever spot her in the street.

Oi, you should be honoured to be compared to me by someone of such emexplery taste as Micheal Picksthelotofus.
  25. All the boys do Keef. But Michael was particularly smitten so maybe form a queue. No pushing till you get to the front.
