What the Conservatives needed was a Strong opposition and the Labour Party failed to provide that through bringing them to book at PMQ's. This resulted in the Conservatives doing as they pleased. Regretfully this will continue until Labour can ask the right questions to make the Conservatives sit up and be brought to account. Until then things will continue to regress. The people will now dictate who next governs this nation. My fear is that a clear majority will not be returned and another coalition will prevail. At a time of Brexit, whether you were in favour or against, the country decided its future. The Government needed to do as the people said. Cameron bottled it and slowly those around him are.have stepped away. May picked up the poison chalice and rather than providing stability has opted for a snap election. I fear it is a grave error of judgement and no doubt Europe are looking at the UK in disbelief, not knowing what next is going to happen. Today the fear of tax rises are banded about, only to cause further uncertainty. Of course Ministers will neither confirm or deny these, So is just under seven weeks the electorate will determine the fate/future of this nation. Hold tight as the next six weeks will be a bumpy roller-coaster in the world of politics and look forward to 9th June with a New World Order.
  3. With regard to the previous post, I find it ironic that as many times as others and myself have asked questions of the author, the author continues to not respond to the important questions being asked and the author appears to use this as a platform to post their groups inappropriate and mis-leading propaganda. I believe that an open debate should be had on here however if the author does not respond to the reasonable questions asked, then how do they expect to have an informed debate, particularly when they say they are seeking to avoid arguments. Arguments are part of the nature of debating. I do not believe that the continued posting of propaganda is anyway healthy or provides the opportunity to clearly debate the issue on this forum. It is the authors only way of gaining publicity and it is post after post of continued inaccurate and mis-leading information that is posted Clearly Admins resent actions to remove postings by the author demonstrate the biased nature of the propaganda posted by the author. Do people know that on Friday the CWGC where working on site at Camberwell Old Cemetery. How comes no one from the authors group has reported that? Does make you wonder what the authors true motives really are??
  4. Well more fool Southwark Council
  5. It is not woods nor has it ever been officially recognised as being woods. What ssw/focc purport to being woods are in fact land neglected by Southwark Council within the cemeteries that became overgrown scrub and that the cemeteries now want to reclaim so the land can be used for its intended purpose, burials. Simple really unless of course you are ssw/focc, but then I doubt they can see the woods from the trees. On past history its already clear ssw/focc talk garbage, CWGC just confirm that.

An election is the last thing the country needs, wait for another coalition and Labour to get wiped out into third if not 4th place, but on the upside Labour will then get someone (is their anyone left)that is credible? The bookies will be rubbing their hands with all the bets going down.
  7. and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rO1n8-SuNM the music is in the message or is that the message is in the music, whatever.
  8. "Disrespect for the nation's soldiers, and all of the buried, is just one reason why Southwark Council is unfit to run a burial programme." NO - The only people unfit to be a protest group are ssw/Focc
  9. He can't post on here as he was previously banned from this forum for similar behaviours to those he is demonstrating on his twit ' r feed. rendelharris Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- This Lewis character (hello Lewis, > as you clearly read all this but don't have to > balls to post!) really is putting himself in a > legally dubious position and should be very > careful about this stalking behaviour. > > dbboy, that Horniman Heights thread is hilarious!
  10. Found this twitter feed https://twitter.com/HornimanHeights/with_replies The twitter author is disagreeing with him and he is not a happy bunny.
  11. IMO, the conversation is SIMPLY about those that want the cemeteries to cease all burials and revert to becoming overgrown wildernesses and those that want the cemeteries used for their intended purpose, burials of the deceased, overgrown areas are brought back into use for future future burials and the cemeteries are suitably maintained.
  12. What time will this happen on Saturday and how long will it last?

  15. They are either unhappy, being protective, fearful or want something (food, attention, walk, relieve themselves etc.)
  16. When you took the job you were aware of the conditions of employment as were your colleagues. To be blunt, if you did not agree with them then perhaps employment with an employer who meets your employment expectations may have been an alternative. As has been said before, if you are that unhappy you have the choice of taking your labour elsewhere. It is not head office who you are indirectly affecting but those around you, the local management who have to contend with your strike actions and those who wish to use the cinema, i.e. the paying customers. Yes you are impacting on the cinemas ability to function when you strike and as you have said yourself they could close the cinema, who wins then, No one. What is needed is compromise on both sides, perhaps rather than striking you may consider approaching management and see how a compromise can be reached.

  18. No one knows if Peckham Plex is making a profit on the ticket price they charge, think you also need to consider if they own the plex or are renting it. Rents in Peckham are likely to be cheaper per sqft or on whatever basis the rental is calculated (usually based on similar size properties locally). My point is the rents in East Dulwich have already resulted in some smaller businesses ceasing to trade. I can appreciate that you want a fair wage for the job you do as do your colleagues, and you are making a comparison to other cinemas. You should be receiving at least minimum wage and if you can push for the Living wage great. Do you know what PH overheads are? Businesses are their to male a profit, and if they don't, they do not survive very long after that. Profits either go to the business owners or people who have invested money and expect a return (the shareholders). High streets across the UK have seen the results of what happens when loses exceed income, see Woolworths, BHS etc. Properties then remain empty for long periods. Deprivation starts to set in as a result because people cannot afford to live there any more as jobs no longer exist and they consequentially do not have enough income to survive.
  19. Think No.42 which went from single to double decker, a well as a nice chocolatey treat, ummmm ummmm!!
  20. So Lewis wants to know who I am, oh how that does NOT surprise me, or all the others he is trying on. Read the thread titled Freedom of Speech and Expression (you'll find it in The Lounge) It was put there because I knew someone (actually thank you JoeLeg for kindly highlighting Lewis's twitter behaviour) would eventually expose your behaviour. Now everyone tuning in can see why I started that thread. Just to remind you and and all the good folks taking the time to read this thread, weren't you banned from here exactly for what you are currently doing on twitter now. To make it abundantly clear you can never ever stop people's freedom of speech or expression in whatever form that takes, through any intimidating tactics you use. ps. Lessons in literacy wouldn't go a miss either, would they!!!! hahaha. So, now to lighten the mood somewhat, enjoy the following two clips that sort of sum up my points here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhY-Y0I8DkY

My favourite bit of Masterchef so far in 2017, the judges literally lose the power to speak or at least John does, the contestant failed to tell the judges it included scotch bonnet chillies, funny..............22 mins 49secs http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08lkx1t/masterchef-series-13-episode-5
  24. Thanks JoeLeg for spotting my error, duly corrected.
