  1. President Trump ordered US air strikes on a target in Syria with 59 Tomahawk missiles targeting Shayrat airfield near Homs. The action followed a suspected chemical weapons attack on civilians in a rebel-held town. Trump said the attack was "in vital national security interest" of US. The UK stood side by side the US supporting the air strikes. Russia, a close Syrian ally, condemned the US "aggression" and suspended a joint air safety agreement. Now don't get me wrong, I condemn the chemical strike as any person would, however this nut job barmy US president is putting world security at risk. If he wants to continue with such behaviour, it will not be long before Russia retaliates with a consequential potential war resulting. This is not a good thing for anyone and the sooner this nut job is removed from power only then will the world be a safer place
  2. In biblical times the Romans wanted to stop Jesus being able to have freedom of speech and expression, he was tried, crucified and on the third day rose from the dead to sit on the right hand of God. In the second world war 3+M Jews were slaughtered because the state did not wish them to be free or have freedom of expression or speech John F Kennedy was assassinated as was Martin Luther King because people objected to what they said and wanted to stop them. The Westminster attack tried to disrupt our freedom, people died as a result of badness (may they rest in peace), but freedom of speech and expression continues in the House of Commons as does it at Speakers Corner. Darcus Howe stood for many things, but I'd say Freedom of speech and expression was one. Remember that freedom of speech and expression are the building blocks upon which society is built as is our democracy, without these we do not have a society.
  3. 10 minutes late this morning, but it's a sunny day, ENJOY.
  4. Those in the shadows want to silence the freedom of speech and expression.
  5. Someone's been listening to Radio 4 in the morning as well I see, the punctuation police are out in force tonight on EDF
  6. Freedom of Speech Rights - Freedom of speech and expression are recognised under the European Convention of Human Rights as fundamental human rights. In Britain these rights can be found as early as 1215 in the Magna Carter. Everyone has the right to freedom of speech and expression, and has the right to voice their opinions and to freely receive and give out information. Prior to the Human Rights Act, the freedom of expression was permitted as long as the law did not prevent it. But the Human Rights Act now guarantees under the law the rights to freedom of speech and expression. The Fundamental Right - Freedom of speech and expression are extremely important rights; in Britain we have the right to express ourselves without persecution from others. The right to freedom of speech and expression is the BUILDING BLOCK OF OUR SOCIETY. Anyone has the right to express themselves freely without fear of punishment from the government of from other individuals. The UK is NOT nor has it ever been a dictatorship. Dictatorship's include North Korea and China.
  7. Thanks Trinidad, does anyone know why they test these things, would have thought those devising questions would have worked out the anticipated answers likely to be received, but probably not thought about including Jedi knight?
  8. If you just miss it, well their is a timetable published and YES sometimes you do have to wait longer because the one in front didn't arrive/stopped early. With the excessive amount of traffic on the roads it is not surprising buses take longer than expected plus with the frequent stops they make. However I do sympathise with you having had similar experiences at Crystal Palace Parade and buses being rammed full of school children or alternatively long waits between buses i.e. the 363, however the 227 is very frequent, I wonder why? I agree that buses rammed full of school children can be infuriating, however once children got given free travel on buses it was inevitable that they would be rammed on the way to and back from school. Wouldn't you use something if it got given to you for free, I would. If you have a look at the timetable at certain times like peak time, they actually do run more buses.
  9. Is it not every 10 years, next due in 2020.
  10. Horniman heights - hilarious twitter feed, keep up the great work. For he who is searching for me; Health and Safety alert/warning, Caution, tree cutting/pruning in progress, low flying branches can cause accidents, keep away from the cordoned off area for your own safety. Chain saws are dangerous, accidents may, can and do happen, but are great for brining down trunks. The tree surgeon chops, cuts and trims whilst as a side line makes coffins in preparation of you being finally laid to rest, the stone mason makes and prepares memorials and the undertaker will finally lay you to rest.
  11. I care about the truth as well. If the haha protesting group tell the truth I won't need to continue to expose the mis leading information and statements they make. Simple really. I am Spartacus!!
  12. You didn't happen to also film the fly tipper about a week ago (think it was the 24th who left a load on Horniman Drive by the mast and then left there ripped out kitchen in the middle of the road at the end of Westwood Park? If by any chance you did can you pass their details to the authorities so that idiot gets lifted as well. Might even be the same t**t[/u].
  13. Next you'll find the haha pressure group objecting to people using in door wood burners because it's burning wood MAN.................................. They get sad and sadder by the day.
  14. Blanche Cameron Wrote: > In July 2016, 86% of 454 people said 'dislike it > all' and called for no burial here. OK - so that is something like (correction it is 390 people who objected), not a large number based on both the number of residents and households in the borough). If you are going to quote figures, suggest you at least use some that are representative for the borough. I did have a look at the article, now I know why you didn't publicise it, because it does not support your campaign!!! Think you'll find you're mis-interpreting what the Cllr said to suit your own purposes, well nothing new then with your modus operandi.
  15. Have you even thought about seeking the views of the Vicar at St Augustine's Church on One Tree Hill, NO, I did't think you'd bothered.
  16. And your proof of your statement is ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
  17. Have you asked Roy Brooks next door what is planned/happening, would have thought they would have a pretty good idea.
  18. I won't post the link as it is easy enough to find on You Tube of Tommy Robinson ranting about the enemy within literally following yesterday's attack in Westminster. Talk about exploiting a live situation, utterly unbelievable.
  19. It is due to reopen on the 27th
  20. You say the allotments are part of the cemetery grounds, think you'll find they are next to the cemetery grounds, and not on it, please somebody correct me if I am mistaken. As for the recreation ground, whilst it unarguably provides a green space for those that use it, Camberwell purchased it with the intent of it always being used for burials. Your use of a UKIP Assembly Member to pursue your political aims is shameful, particularly in light of what happened at Westminster. Sadiq Khan neatly dismissed the question and referred the AM to the statement prepared for him. "Email or call us if you have a question. Or if you have a complaint as to how we are working to save the trees, woods and the graves of our local cemeteries." Are you for real, you don't answer questions on here so why are you going to answer emails or tweets. Probably a way of getting peoples email addresses so you can continue the abuse you have previously been accused of. Don't think so. As you spend enough time reposting your nonsense statements, just answer the questions on here being asked of you. So for the umpteenth time of asking, when are you going to publish your FOCC constitution and minutes of meetings?
  21. If they say they are FOCC they are perporting to represent a group with a cause. Whatever that cause may or may not be, surely they must have a constitution that lays out: Who is responsible for what? How they acquired these positions, were they voted into them or have they just assumed them. If assumed positions that does not seem to be democratic? What they aim to achieve? How they intend to do this? How they raise funds? How these funds are maintained? How the funds are used? Who is responsible for the funds? Accounts for the funds and usage? I would not want to support any group if I did not know were the funds were coming from and how they were being spent? FOCC need to be held to account.
  22. When are you going to post the FOCC constitution and minutes of meetings?
  23. try looking for Anton on here
  24. Do you know if any of it is Oak, could really do with some. Free wood - great, note to self, go collect some fresh free cut wood!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. "Wood chips from oak trees, cut down on the side of One Tree Hill in the Camberwell New Cemetery grounds, adjacent to the One Tree Hill Nature Reserve and the One Tree Hill Allotments". So for once Blanche and co of ssw actually do listen, well that's a first for them.
