    Please do report all muggings and attempted ones to the police, as they told me the incident rate round here is very low, when my son and a friend were mugged two weeks ago. If that is true then good but if things are not being reported they don't have the full picture and will step up patrols etc

    When I traced my mothers birth family I was shocked to find that they came from Dulwich Camberwell Peckham Brixton from 1716 onwards. I had moved back to my roots as well without any prior knowledge. Then I found out my Dads father was in Brixton as well! Welcome home

    We had a power cut last night from 7.00pm, on Barry Road. Someone else on Barry Road on friday. has anyone else been affected?

    They are being developed by the man who owned the garage who is called Barry! All 8 flats and 4 houses are for rent. Try Foxtons, Tiddles you are not wrong

    There are 3 one small section of Barry Road this morning. It really is infuriating not to be able to park.

    Where will they service and wash the vans. They still drive into the site at weekends and park in the loading bay. Surely this can't be a legal way to run a business

    I live on Barry Road and my car is covered in dust too. i noticed it yesterday and I also noticed a sign on Barry Road for a new car wash!!!

    I could hear a loud humming/buzzing noise last night. Is it a generator. It's very annoying in the early hours

    I saw a sign there last week I think it might be changing to Trafalgar Square

    I think its 8 2 bed flats at the front and 4 "mews" houses at the back all with parking spaces on site. planning permission was granted way back, and they waited ages before starting work. It is a great shame to see the old house demolished.

    Thanks I will check that out. My Great Great Grandfather Thomas Moorhouse sold hot potatoes/icecream in Brixton in the late 1800's. The Bartlets where Dulwich Village, maybe first school masters of Dulwich Free School. Also I had an ancestor Gibbs who was a charcoal burner in Dulwich Woods

    Just wanted to tell you that my mother was adopted in 1935 and bought up elsewhere. I moved to South London Brixton and Dulwich and that is where her family where from as well. Also on my my Dads side. I love that!!! Neighbour could be his mothers maiden name as people often did this and its a great help verifing births. Any one remember any Moorhouses or Bartletts

    Was it on Upland Road if it was I know someone who does. She went to St Johns school and on the way home would buy a crumpet. She is in her 60s would this be right?

    Hi there was one just in Ferris Road, off Barry Road, in the garden of the house that fronts B Road, it overhangs fence. Hope this helps
