However, I am not on Facebook (nor do I wish to be)...I don't suppose...Sean? Anyone?
  2. We have a letter - which although correctly addressed to us - is for a Rebecca Gonde. No sender's address - and I am loathed to give it to the postman/stick it in letterbox given the dire postal service in our area at present. It looks like nice mail (e.g. a birthday card or some sort of invite - as opposed to a letter from the Gas Board or the Inland Revenue!). Have made all the usual enquiries.
  3. Wouldn't go so far as to say that I'm "in love" with you HB (there's only one man for me), but...you are growing on me...you have me in stitches a great deal of the time (but, you can also be a naughty boy)... *giggles*

Actually HB - that isn't quite true - see Christmas Carol and ED Single Men threads (of all places)! Other than that: *curled up on floor laughing* Si hoc legere scis nimium eruditionis habes

  11. Is that you WES? Edited to say: I don't expect an answer, naturally (well - other than "no", of course).

  13. Oh and this one was No. 1 in the (reggae) charts when I got kicked out of home by my (bastard) father...I used to replay in my head again and again - I'm sure it helped to keep me alive during my days of sleeping in West Croydon Station. Not very pleasant memories, but I still like the tune...as I said, it kept me going. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krfbh4uXUdw&feature=related

It was a massive hit at the time...and I just kept playing it over and over again (whilst crying my eyeballs out of course:-$). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9oelGgz1jc. Happy listening.

  23. I think Louisa makes threads more interesting...the Christmas parade thread is a perfect example of this as, prior to her comments, the thread was just...well, just a nice, pleasant thread about a nice, pleasant event which is going to take place in nice, pleasant ED. Her comments spiced up the thread, compelled the likes of me to jump in and give our two-pennies' worth (e.g. by showing our support for all of Monica's hard work etc.). This in turn got the thread moving at a faster pace than it would otherwise have done and, ultimately, it kept Monica's thread close to the top of the page. Some of us may not have agreed with Louisa's sentiments (myself included), but, I believe that to have disallowed her the opportunity of voicing them would have been manifestly unfair. The flip side is that we are now being permitted to discuss her at length here. So, is Louisa for real? I think that, for the purposes of a dynamic, fun and vibrant forum, this is irrelevant...i.e. I couldn't give a toss! As with Dulwichmum (who is in all probability not "for real"), the forum is a more interesting place with her contributions.
