Is criminalising membership in the banned group Islam4UK really necessary...
reggie replied to Ladymuck's topic in The Lounge
Magpie I assume you are British. If I am openly hostile to you does that mean I have to leave the country? How do you measure hostility and how do you define Britain? About half of this country feel openly hostile to Tony Blair over the Iraq war, does that fit your definiton? Something to listen to while we are on the subject -

Loz In an earlier post you said "artists in the future will have to to find a new business model" and now you are looking for 10%. Looks like the campaign is making progress. -

Loz If you want to add 'marvellous piece of satire' to the concept of file sharing protest song and increase its value I am more than happy. Maybe it's looking a bit cheap now and should be ?2,000,000. The track 'Priceless' by Sly and Reggie that you can buy will in fact not be a copy but a unique file. Download Now -

I think having a march to mourn all the dead would be a good thing. Depends how and where you do it though. Middle Class Mayhem -

You are probably aware of one of Newtons lawa of thermodynamics which warns us that heat loss increases at a higher rate when the temperature difference increases. Which means a lower temperature house loses heat more slowly. But keeping the house a bit warm all day and night might still use more energy than warming it up to a higher temp for some of the time. This would depend on the level of insulation. Any questions?

Loz, This is not about Sly and Reggie music it's a campaign about file sharing and I reckon the song makes a greater effect at the moment by not being heard. And the world hasn't rejected the track, it just hasn't been bought...... yet. Priceless by Sly and Reggie Click this link now for your download -

No the track is real, we recorded it last week. The campaign is about choice. Once a piece of creative work is on the web,its creator has no control over it. The consumer can then decide to get it for free or pay for it. So if you want the track 'Priceless' by Sly and Reggie it costs ?1,000,000. And its not available anywhere else. -

There's a guy on trial at the moment in the UK for illegal file sharing who ran the OINK bit torrent site. Police found ?200,000 in his paypal account from subscribers. Nice work if you can get it but illegal file sharing aint about your human rights. -

I just got an email from a Radio One DJ asking for an mp3 of "Priceless". I told him he would have to rob a bank to pay for a copy. This is a campaign about file sharing and the value of artistic expression on the internet. "The artist right to give Is not the people's right to take" The Million Pound Download -

I was thinking of you Huguenot when launching this campaign and thought you might like this one...seriously. It is the campaign that is least likely, as you say, to get a fan base and therefore could be the most noble in your eyes. -
Dear MM You say that Labour "Spent billions on the public sector services with little discernible effect" Would you prefer a tory government spending less on the public sector? "Encouraged waves of immigration to take over blue collar / unskilled jobs" Immigration although unpopular is not shown to negatively effect the economy and jobs market "Seen manufacturing decline by even more than in the 80's" Do you think the tories are champions of manufacturing? "Introduced stealth taxes, increased NI, introduced and then withdrawn the 10p tax band" If Labour are a high tax party how come they presided over a consumer boom at the same time "sent Britain's armed forces to war leading to the deaths of over 300 young British men and women, predominantly from "old Labour" strongholds, as well as countless Iraqis and Afgahnis" The tories are clear that they would have had the same policy in Irag and Afghanistan "Expanded the tertiary education system to encourage 50% of all young people into university - then seen it become an expensive, poor quality debt creation scheme for many with degrees of little benefit" How do your ideas on education square with your aspirational viewpoint for families? "Created the conditions that have exacerbated the world wide recession and led to a budget deficit that will take 10 years to resolve." Do you think the tories are the party to lead the charge against the excesses of the free market economy? Middle Class Mayhem

See what I mean, she's still firing.

There's plenty of life left in the old boiler and who's to say the new one would be any better? So come on people..even Huguenot should get behind this one.

I am very curious about the post above. A bit like Prof. Calculus wandering in. Have I missed something? Either way I am liking it.
