  1. it’s been discussed in the thread about Indian restaurants.
  2. I received similar. I called them. They said it was computer generated. I had had a normal blood pressure reading two weeks ago at a hospital. I told them this. They said they needed to know the exact reading. I think there must be ££ related to this.
  3. How revolting. I wonder if there are cameras in the area? Does this mean that they snuck in at night to wreak this havoc? Maybe the US Embassy will donate some money to help.
  4. They have three types of samosa, vegetable, chicken and lamb. They are all the same price £2.90. To bite into a meat samosa when you don’t eat meat is foul. It’s not possible to place a delivery order on their portal, you have to call. However a collection order can be placed. This seems odd.
  5. Perhaps I have unusual standards but receiving samosas with meat filling when vegetable ones had been ordered was unpleasant.
  6. Yes, extremely silly. And especially when they don’t offer a 10% discount like several Indian restaurants do, according to their websites. Two Sisters in Nunhead is one. Was highly rated by someone on the Which is the Best Curry Restaurant thread. Not tried yet, but at least they have the option of card payment.
  7. It was Millennium. Had a few problems with the order as some incorrect items were delivered but they did remedy the problem by eventually sending the correct items. Glad I hadn’t tipped. In case anyone is interested in my opinion, the tarka dal was extremely runny, and the stuffed paratha was greasy in an unpleasant way. The onion bhajis were tiny but tasted OK. The sag paneer tasted very minty which wasn’t expected. I still like Spices in Nunhead especially for value for money, but wanted to try a few other places.
  8. So sorry to hear this. I’ve had the same problem with pressing 1 as well. Have you tried emailing the surgery? And yes, they are extremely bad at contacting patients to follow up test results in a timely manner. Last time this happened to me, I was told that I had to get an appointment through the usual methods to discuss with a GP. Also, I’ve had random phone calls from a GP when I’ve not expected one.
  9. Thanks for posting. Sadly, they also require cash on delivery.
  10. How wonderful that your puppy pulled through after being admitted and what a nerve wracking time for you. That’s a great testament to post about this vet practice.
  11. How grim. You need to call Environmental Health to report plus tell the shop.
  12. What are opinions of the Hong Hong Chinese restaurant in Grove Vale which is takeaway only?
  13. Yes, I need to phone the GP office as they were the ones who referred me. Will also phone Guy’s Hospital where I am supposed to attend.
  14. I tried a new to me place for a delivery last night, I placed an order on the phone for a delivery and offered to pay with my card then and there. This was because their website wasn’t working for delivery. Was told they would send a machine with the delivery driver and was then asked by the driver if I wanted to add a tip. I was already paying more than I would have for cash. Is asking for a tip common practice now? Offering 10% off orders for cash seems to be common now. It’s even advertised on the websites with some places. It was not Khan’s. They offer 10% discount for orders over £25 and you don’t need cash. I will try them next. It was not 2 Sisters. They offer a discount for cash too.
  15. Why can’t you report it to your insurance company in the meantime?
  16. I just heard a radio commercial for Boots and it said they would deliver prescriptions to a patient’s home.
  17. I was referring to both Khan’s and Millennium!
  18. Thanks for posting that. I had no idea they had/have physiotherapy (nor the Foot Health place) there. I was offered an appointment at either Guy’s or at a place in Brixton. I know that the old Dulwich hospital had physiotherapy before they closed.
  19. Thanks. I never have cash on me.
  20. 2 Sisters told me that they give a discount on the website prices if you pay cash on delivery. Does Millenium do their own deliveries? Do they do their own deliveries?
  21. Are there any Chinese restaurants who do their own deliveries?
  22. Good for you and it’s incredible that you got an appt for the same day.
