  1. Wait a minute. Didn't the first test in 2005 (at Lords) start on the 21st of July (i.e. a good two weeks LATER than this year)? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/shared/fds/hi/statistics/cricket/scorecards/2005/7/11797/html/scorecard.stm
  2. one more absurdity: the tenants had called for the block to be demolished two or three years ago - but had been told it was a listed building, and had to be preserved. Why oh why are we preserving these crap pieces of architecture?!? And don't give me this 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' rubbish.
  3. We all know that Camberwell isn't East Dulwich - thanks for the reminder. However, this is one of the most devastating fires in London that I can remember - 3 young children dying? Can't remember one as bad as that before in London. And it happened on our (i.e. ED's) doorstep. Frankly, I think it's pretty shocking that it was moved from the main forum.

  7. I guess Obama, Oprah and Tiger Woods are part of the 'small white elite rich' then..
  8. Muzzah wins 3 sets to Love: 7:5, 6:3, 6:2. He's the first Brit in the semis since 'Come on Tim' back in the heady days of '02, a full SEVEN years ago!
  9. what's wrong with wanting a Waitrose on Lordship Lane? :(
  10. COME ON MUZZAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the P13 is The Tardis! ::o

Thank you. I was getting a bit worried that it wasn't going to open and that I'd moved to Dulwich from Kew for no reason!

  17. When is the Waitrose on Lordship Lane opening? Can someone provide an update please?
  18. Power to the People?
  19. I don't think I'd agree that it is more vicious than EVER before...
  20. Managed to beat my record today. Caught the train at Victoria at 21 munutes past the hour. Arrived in West Dulwich at 32 minutes past. Walked outside and got the P13 immediately (a miracle in and of itself!), which then proceeded to Underhill Road only stopping twice on the way. Got off on Underhill Road at 37 minutes past. Gotta love living here! :)-D
