  1. Hmm. Sure I've turned that way before, maybe the camera's are recent... Oh well.
  2. I don't know which version of Word you're using but a workaround could be to save as PDF and then print the PDF ?
  3. I got stung for ?65 for turning right from Peckham Road into Asylum Road recently. I'm sure that you used to be able to, but I've not been this way for a while. So just beware.
  4. Great display though. Really enjoyed it.
  5. Patrolling Lordship Lane is not very useful at any time of day. Seems to me that most of the crimes reported on this forum take place on side roads and back roads. I imagine the SNT have this information already and so if would be better placed putting it to use.
  6. James - it is possible to arrange for a bike hoop (or whatever they're called) outside the new library on Grove Vale ? The nearest is the one outside the station which often has no space.

  8. Bob you're pathetic. F**k Off.
  9. Heard of Google ? Try using the words "southwark council replacement bin" and see what happens.
  10. I see RPC has left too. Not sure how recently.
  11. I think that you can use the in-built Parental Controls settings on an iPhone to prevent access to certain websites.

And where are these people supposed to live ?

  14. What Rye Lane need is a Body Shop, Lush or a Space NK. Something for everyone.
  15. If the above advice fails then then simplest solution would be a wired connection to your (presumably smart TV or laptop ?) . You probably won't want to trail a cable from your router so you could look at using one of the ethernet-over-the-mains type arrangements. You need a pair and one is plugged into the mains next to your router and connected using a short ethernet cable, then you have another one in your living room and you have another ethernet cable that connects it to your TV/Laptop. However if the device you're using to watch netflix only supports a wifi connection and not a wired connection then this won't be an option for you !
  16. I asked Bill's and this was their response "Thank you for your enquiry. I'm afraid this is just a rumour as we currently have no plans to open in East Dulwich, although we'll certainly keep it in mind for future reference!"
  17. Bob - I feel it's somewhat disrespectful if you don't even know the person's name or when they died. You are referring to Mark Hollis of the band Talk Talk who died in February 2019. Bog off back to your non-existent caravan.

    What that his girlfriend ?
  19. Problem is KK, as you say above a fine for offenders wouldn't work as there wouldn't be a full time warden. If a ban was put in place, it also couldn't be easily enforced and I suspect there would still be a significant minority that would ignore it and let their dog's use it as a toilet anyway.
  20. *Removes thick layer of dust, Screwfix catalogues and old copies of HouseBuilder magazine* Kevin McCloud spotted filming on Melbourne Grove this morning.
  21. Not an issue from a handling perspective but you may find the ride a little harder as the thinner tyre is very slightly less "bouncy". They should have replaced like-for-like, or at least asked you if it was ok not to. I suspect that they didn't have a 42 in stock as they are less common. You say that they fixed the puncture, hmm, if you were paying for a new tyre then I would have thought they would have given you a new tube as well. Not a major issue but a new tube is pretty cheap tbh and not much more than the cost of fixing the puncture I would have thought. What brand of tyre did they fit on the back ? Others my have their view on the best brands but I have always fitted Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres to my bike that I use for commuting into town daily, year round and I'm tempting fate but I cannot remember the last time I had a puncture. They're about ?20 each.
  22. Spot on as usual Foxy, I understand they're planning to charge you for the air you breathe as well. They'll be an allowance in your council tax but if you use any more you'll be heavily fined. You heard it hear first.
  23. Is this the one about the guy who got barked at by a dog on Peckham Rye and then followed the woman walking said dog taking pictures. She called her partner and when he tried to talk to the guy, he ran off and called the police. There was a long thread about this but I can't find it.
  24. Anyone been to The Castle lately ? Isn't that more of a C2DE-type establishment ?
