i posted at the start of this thread, and have followed it with a certain degree of detachment, watching because yet again someone dares post an alternate view to that of the OP, it descends into personal attack. my original view remains the same she breached the code of conductofthe nmc, regardless whether or not it was the right thing to do,and while her actions may have been honourable, and most likely thought to be so by some members of the panel which struck her off the register, the reason she was struck off the register is because the code was breached and the nmc have to be seen to uphold their standards, and rules, because not to do so sets the prescendent for others. its harsh but the rules are the rules.

breach of patient confidentiality, big, big error in the eyes of the nmc, and along with accountability its drummed in to you from day 1. personally they were within their rights to strike her off the register for this breach, however i feel they could have looked at the case with a little bit more compassion and understanding of the situation, however i have no doubt that she knew what she was getting herself into and what the possible consequences could be, and if she thought that the nmc would take this into consideration, then it shows quite a bit of naivety on her behalf. sorry but not signing.

try le hotel d,esmeralda - rue st-julien le pauvre, its not the most modern of hotels, but it has character in abundance, with views of the seine and notre dame and its also more or less next door to another parisian institute - shakespeare and co. highly recommended.
