I'm confused... why are they now digging up the recently laid surfaces at this junction?! Haven't they got better things to do with our council taxes ? or at least roads that actually need resurfacing.

I took an inherited album to Stanley Gibbons in the Strand, and to another dealer opposite. They both had a quick look through and gave me an estimate of value... I was left feeling I'd do better if I started researching values myself ? needless to say still have albums!

Have tried phoning 101 today after seeing her in East Dulwich Grove but haven't managed to get through, they're obviously very busy. Hope to spot her on a quiet day next time!

We had no internet or phone all Thursday. Was told variously that there wasn't a problem, that there was a local problem which would be fixed by 1)3.15pm 2)7.30pm, eventually back on yesterday morning at 10am, also told that there would be ongoing issues until April 2018 as they were doing general work on the service.

I was wondering whether they were redwings, had a definate eye stripe...

There was a flock of birds, about 8, in the garden this morning, looked like thrushes (speckled fronts, brownish, the right size), but do they move in a flock?

I think trial by Twitter or newspaper is unhelpful and damaging. There should be some clearer lines drawn, sexual assault is a crime which needs to be reported, some of the behaviour being discussed is an HR disciplinary matter, not criminal behaviour. But if it means organsations now look at their procedures that will be a positive thing ? much of this harassment went unreported at the time because people couldn't safely complain. And if this encourages victims of assault to come forward, however long ago the assault took place, then that is a good thing as well.

I've written to all three Village ward councellors to ask about this, no reply yet...

Agree about getting mobile number, I reckon I've been lucky, never had a problem so far.
