  1. Agreed. I think physical donations are great if you already have items around the house that could be put to better used. But if you are buying new specifically to donate then cash is much easier. I?ve spent some time sorting out donations and the logistics to get it over to Poland and ukraine is really tricky
  2. I?m going to Balham this wed to drop off supplies listed on their essential list. If anyone has items that they want to drop in pls pm me for address. I don?t have a lot of space but perfect for medical and sanitary/hygiene products like toothpaste/brushes etc
  3. Thanks it?s back on
  4. Anyone suffering from no water near Crawthew Grove?
  5. The day to day care was fab - the staff we had no complaints about. My daughter loved it and made many friends
  6. @Piplings. Those who abide by the contract terms didn?t make a difference and the nursery management still retained our deposit despite several emails evidenced the due notice being served.
  7. Andy came round to reseal a bath and hang a heavy mirror - he was fab! I?m gathering my next task list for him now. Very reasonable price and great quality too.
  8. We just had a guy come round to our door asking for money. He seemed genuine so we gave him a tenner. Are there emergency help numbers that I can give him if he returns?

  12. Highly recommend Kim - despite delays with builders, he was amazingly accommodating and worked around them. Kim also did some extra bits which the builders had left unfinished in bathroom. We are really pleased with finish and super nice guy too. Highly recommend K
  13. I?ve just had my house fully redecorates interior and exterior. Hussein worked tirelessly to transform our house and we are really pleased with the finish. Our builders were delayed and Hussein was very accommodating and worked around them . Highly recommended
  14. This is the fourth time we have used Aaron- amazing finish every time. More recently, we used him to remedy another plasterer?s work (came through a fully managed build and design company) which was awful. I?ve had other trades comment on the level of finish too. Highly recommended 07773 410661
  15. Another happy customer for Stephen?s company. Very knowledgeable in the products and we had to change dates due to delays with move which Stephen accommodated without complaint. So happy with the carpets and the standard of fitting.
  16. Highly recommend Richard for waste removal. He was prompt , reliable and really nice guy.
  17. We have just used AndMove and they were brilliant. Reasonable cost, very helpful and professional and reliable. We had to change the move date a couple of tiles and Paval was very accommodating. They made the move less stressful!
  18. I put items directly in my shopping bag as I?m usually pushing a buggy so can?t carry basket easily, whereas I sling bag over shoulder and do my shopping. I get that people might think I?m stealing but if there are concerned about it, then ask to see my items and receipt - I?d happily oblige. If a fellow customer challenged me about it, I?d tell you where to go.
  19. The arts factory runs every sat during term time - my daughter goes there and loves it.
  20. Hi Can anyone recommend a local architect to help with tricky planning applications? Thanks Irene
  21. We did our wills with Nick after finding his details here and agreed that he would tweak our wills after marriage. I've not been able to reach him despite messaging here too.
