  3. You can only make appointment requests between 8am - 4pm daily, seem to make it as hard as possible for patients.
  4. Doesn't surprise me that you expressed your appreciation of foxes. You feel strongly about them, fine. Perhaps they don't leave a nightly pile of poo in your garden or you don't need to deal with it. Life is too short to argue the point. I have neighbours who feed the foxes and tell me the rubbish they feed them. Foxes are wild creatures, by feeding them [people are making them reliant on humans to feed them. I guess they don't have to clear up their nightly mess. It actually becomes a tiresome chore and hence my loathing of the fox. They are a protected vermin. Don't mess or come into my garden. no problem, leave their mess it becomes an issue.
  5. bluebottles spread disease from the excrement oh yes they are bread sandwiches cheapest dog food food leftovers No urban foxes were not here before humans You have a track record of questioning what me and other posters say, just accept it rather than questioning everything
  6. Perhaps because those who feed them, don't give them proper food, rather stuff which clearly disagrees with their digestion. plus they are scavengers, eating anything they find, You are not alone, likewise a daily occurrence clearing up their excrement. The worst bit is the bluebottles which feed off the excrement. IMO London needs a fox cull.
  7. I'm lucky if I can afford fish & chips take away, let alone the prices in the Wood House.
  8. And when did you become the police, judge, jury, prosecution and executioner all in one, I don't think so. And get back to Lewes
  9. Well said, at last someone else who also thinks the lunatics have finally taken over the asylum.
  10. Doing the outside - pointless Internally - dread to think what the condition is. And as they say, you can't polish a turd.
  11. Wensleydale Grommit, Wensleydale lad.
  12. How gouda do that?
  13. Is this really the place for this, I think not.
  14. These puns are becoming woefully bad like a stinking bishop.
  15. Traditional deli's began to suffer and struggle when the supermarkets opened instore deli counters and could purchase and supply goods at lower prices as they bought in bulk that deli's could not ultimately deal with and slowly but surely they began to close. But now the supermarkets have all but closed their deli counters perhaps this opens the opportunity for those who fancy a punt and have the experience to open new deli's, and likewise bakeries to open that produce bread and not the reheated frozen "bread" sold by the supermarkets which they purport to be instore baked. They or at least Sainsbury's and I guess this applies to the other three multi national supermarkets no longer scratch bake. It would be so good to se traditional delis and bakeries re-open.
  16. There where a couple of really old Italian deli's one on Farringdon Road, the other on Caledonian Road which was run by a really old guy and his shop cat. It ceased trading in about 2016 I think. He had the most amazing fresh Italian stringed sausages, Parmesan cut off the block, proper Italian bread, all manner of Italian cheeses, hand sliced cured meats. Such a loss when he eventually closed up.
  17. Traffic lights, (3 - way) Junction of Woodvale with Melford Road this morning, 06/08/25 Any idea wht the impact re-routing will be for P13?
  18. Just came across Davidstow Crackler as an extra mature cheddar (available in most supermarkets), but still no replacement for Canadian Extra mature cheese that is unavailable and has been for some years. My go to cheese is Comte (surprisingly good value from Tesco) and a really nice blue is Dolcellate (supermarket available). The other go to has to be Lidl's Deluxe Parmigiano Reggiano for grating over pasta, matured and IMO generally better than other supermarket Parmesan cheese.
  19. Sad to have seen The Grove sit empty and decay for so long. Perhaps Dulwich Estates will now do "something" with the former building and land and put it to some good use. Let's have a Lidl.
  20. Another bit of architecture that's about to get demolished.
