  3. And back for some more of Jean Carn with Al Johnson, "I'm back for more" Followed by even more Jean Carn and "Do you get enough love" More great tunes in the bag for next week, hope you come back for more.
  4. Another outlandish track by the superb Price, taken I believe from Batman.....it's "Scandalous"
  5. Jean Carn- (No, No) you can't come back now. It's one heck of a banger of a tune, enjoy.
  6. Perhaps bring this back to the topic, rather than go of at various unconnected tangent's. If you want to talk about cllrs/MP, how about starting a separate thread.
  7. Dare we enquire who the person(s) from Southwark Council will be which you have omitted to mention?
  8. It's Thames water, need we say more; Info taken from the TfL website which I hope will be helpful. Routes: P4 DULWICH COMMON, Dulwich: Route P4 is on diversion in both directions due to emergency Thames Water works. Buses are diverted via Lordship Lane and East Dulwich Grove, missing stops from Lordship Lane Estate to Dulwich Village School (VH and VU) Routes: P13 DULWICH COMMON, Dulwich: Route P13 is on diversion in both directions due to emergency Thames Water works. Buses are diverted via Lordship Lane, East Dulwich Grove and Dulwich Village, missing stops from Grove Tavern (MA) to Allison Grove (VN) towards Streatham and from Dulwich Park / Queen Mary's Gate (VM) to Lordship Lane Estate towards New Cross.

  10. David Davis goes for Boris's jugular at PMQ's....OuCh............................
  11. Insufficient staff to do the work required to sort and deliver mail and parcels
  12. What the opposition should be banging on about is the cost of living and household fuel cost increases; That is what the country cares about way more than whether he attended a party/parties, couldn't care less tbh, but I care about inflation rising, now 5.4% which means the cost of items in the shops going up week on week and the whopping increases in household fuel costs.
  13. Didn't know this was exclusively your thread to lead on???!!!! Put bluntly, Starmer and Rayner need to lead a proper opposition, asking the difficult and hard questions, and prove they are capable of being the Governing Party. After the comical fiasco that was Corbyn & co, what do you expect. Corbyn showed he was incapable of leading the country and led Labour to their fourth consecutive defeat. Until the current leadership can show they are trustworthy, simply - no chance. The only person capable of leading, bringing together and opposing Boris et al is Andy Burnham, who is doing a great job in Manchester, (far better that Khan the clown is here) And as much as I think Boris is done, who else wants to pick up the poison chalice? No previous party in our lifetime has had to deal with a world wide virus that they are doing at the moment. They are making it up as they go along, what else do you expect??

Yes, it's not been great. Yes Boris is probably on the ropes, just about to be dropped, but PM's come and go as did Blair, Brown, Cameron, May and contenders as Corbyn. It's politics, a nasty business, but it's why we have elections to determine which administration "leads" the country. What the country Really needs is a decent, strong, questioning opposition that properly holds the current Government to account, makes them squirm and answer the difficult questions. Then we may see a change, but until then, things will pretty much continue as they are. The likes of Starmer and Rayner need to do their job. However, if you want to really moan, then moan about why 150+K people have passed away in the UK, because they were unfortunate enough to have contracted C19, their families and friends who are mourning the loss of those they loved. And no doubt you'll come back with some type of put down.
  15. "All in all, probably over ?10 in postage wasted due to Royal Mail's slow service" At least you got them eventually. embracefinancial Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I received a huge pile of post today, including > Christmas cards that were posted as early as 6th > December. 16. Larry the Cat Retweeted Larry the Cat @Number10cat Larry the Cat @Number10cat ? Jan 13 The only sensible response to Johnson being in the house for a week: Jan 12 Wanted: New housemate for Westminster based feline. Recently decorated house includes excellent security, lightly used office space and large garden, suitable for hosting parties. Larry the Cat @Number10cat ? Jan 12 I can?t comment on who?s responsible for the large cat turd in Boris Johnson?s shoe as I don?t want to prejudge Sue Gray?s independent investigation
  17. The Press who are publishing these "stories" surely must know who the "leak" in No. 10 is, they just need to let the cat out of the bag.

  19. Clearly there's a rat in No.10, well we knew that, no doubt the search is in full swing to find said person and have them dealt with. Can't see Boris wanting more tales being told. But in all seriousness, Boris has shown that he is an incompetent fool, incapable of being PM and running the country. However unless he's pushed, Boris won't go, although he need's too. He is a laughing stock himself and is making the UK a laughing stock as well. Needs to walk the plank sooner than later. Who steps in to take over, I haven't got the foggiest of ideas who can do the job or who may even want the job. We are like a rudderless ship in the ocean, not knowing where we are going............the Boris saga unfortunately continues!
  20. You've been listening to LBC, because that was exactly what was said on last nights show with Tom Swarbrick. 22. Anyone checked on the electricity and gas price tariff increases, unfortunately my fixed deal came to an end yesterday and the new variable tariff begins today which has already become a "legacy" tariff, no new customers being put on it. Electricity p/Kw/h increased by 42%, Daily standing charge up by 22% Gas p/Kw/h increased by an eye wateringly staggering 60%, Daily standing charge up by 66% The positive if a positive can exist is that 30 days notice of any price increases. I took a look at their "new" tariffs and the costs have rocketed even further, so staying on what I'm on.
