  1. Anyone else think they may have the wrong South African at the helm?
  2. Well they are Polish builders after all.
  3. Does it mean that people who sit there talk to themselves and drink their own wee?
  4. I wouldn?t be at all surprised if Mrs Robinson actually sell special arse-shaped plates at a ton a piece.

In London they usually are. This type of approach is also prudent when driving, walking and reading internet forums.
  6. You can tell them to stick it up their arse.

  8. So when you leave a service charge you aren't leaving it for the waiter? It is always my intention to leave it for them and not the owner who has already made a profit on the food I have just paid for.
  9. Come now enough of this. Tony this is cricket not soccer so there will be no unpleasantness as cricket is a game played by real men.* *Where the definition of a real man is, being strong, decent and capable, and not, being able to drink 15 pints of Stella and remain awake for long enough to commit assault.
  10. Well there you go. It is the England and Wales Cricket Team anyway so surely Cardiff should get a test match.
  11. Heard of her? She cooks my breakfast.
  12. Yep but more often than not the first test of the summer is played at lords. This year the Welsh Assembly bunged the ECB some readies to have it in Cardiff. According to the press (and Steve Harmison) they?re going to prepare a flat wicket to try to ensure 5 days play. Cardiff has a reputation of turning from day one though and England has 2 spinners (well 3 if you include Pietersen) as opposed to Australia?s 1.
  13. Naked Office!
  14. Why are major, national issues that affect all our lives not discussed in the Main section? What about political ideology? Are they not important enough? Are they not of value to the people in East Dulwich? This is totalitarian, discrimination and obviously stems from a sinister agenda on the part of a clandestine coven of moderators. Who do they think they are giving up their free time and putting in unpaid effort to run a community service as fairly and even-handedly as possible? Bastards!
  15. This isn't a joking matter. The world is a dangerous place and people need to be careful. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/health/fun-causes-cancer%2c-say-docs-200907031876/
  16. By pointing out meal-making of the media coverage I?m by no means condoning the Burger?s actions, I don?t think any South African would (except our esteemed coach of course), I just spoke to my mom back home who described it as, ?Bloody stupid especially for a respected player at that level.? I don?t think I can sum it up better. Personally I?m very conservative when it comes to playing sport within the spirit of the rules, which is why I don?t bother watching soccer even though I grew up playing it. I find cricket and rugby are played for the most part within the spirit of the rules I suppose this is also what makes it seem so unforgivable when serious and obvious transgression does happen.
  17. Which was exactly my point about the british press a few posts ago.
  18. I've found the best is to just ignore the jobsworths until they call the cops. The cops will take ages to rock up* anyway by which time you may be done. *steady now
  19. Yeah I just say, ?Wine for guests, willing to spend, ?7-?12? or ?Wine for me willing to spend about, ?20?
  20. They do have price lables. I very rarely spend more than about ?10 on a bottle unless I'm specifically curious about something.
  21. diddums. ;-)
  22. Well the IRB decision was that the action was unsporting but without intent. (I think) Although I?m not entirely sure how you can be unintentionally unsportsmanlike.
  23. I find the opposite. I buy from Green and Blue because I don?t know much about wine. The staff/owners as well informed, the wines are well described and (because I suspect they are quite selective on what they put on the shelves) I have not yet been disappointed by any of their wines.
  24. This De Villiers character is a bit of a joke, he?s that drunk guy you meet in the pub who thinks he?s an expert on everything but just ends up embarrassing himself. Apparently he isn?t even involved in the training that much. I suspect his appointment is more political than anything else. He does have a point about the British press though. Their sense for, often ill-informed, sporting melodrama is second to none. All the press has to say about rugby at the moment is, eye-gouging this and eye-gouging that when the IRB has been quite clear that no eye-gouging occurred. Then there is the, ferocious test this and brutal match that. Have these journalists ever watched a match between the Springboks and the All Blacks and seen how ferocious proper rugby is?
