In science or philosophy no law can be completely universal (not even that one). It can only apply universally within certain parameters but never to everything. That would be assuming that either there is a finite level to knowledge and discovery or that anything new that we ever discover or figure out will behave in a way which we have predetermined. Likewise in philosophy formulating that everyone will react morally in a certain way is speculating that there is a limit to the human experience. This can?t be proved or disproved. But within limited parameters there are universal laws that work quite nicely. If the laws of Newtonian Physics didn?t apply to a portion of our physical environment then we would all become very dead very quickly for instance.

I didn?t think these guys were that obscure. They?re even poms. From the West Midlands, big in the ?90s, this was one of their biggest songs. Played a style of music that shares its moniker with Nanny Ogg?s cat in Terry Pratchett?s Discworld novels. (just to be a bit obscure about it)
