  5. Or the square in front of the Ritzy.
  6. Peckham probably.
  7. It's the opening lines to what is probably their most well known song.
  8. Don?t listen to me Rosie I was just rambling pointlessly about ideas rather than anything worthwhile. I?m hardly any kind of target market for much anyway. I don?t really buy anything that doesn?t involve guitars, skateboards, cars or beer.
  9. It is.
  10. I always heard this one as: It?s a broom full of ashes on the 45.
  11. Is that wonderwall? Oh baby you gonna be the one at Sainsbury's ?
  12. Smells like teen spirit. Nirvana
  13. And not as blatantly grunge.
  14. Nope Newer.
  15. Well that's what I think anyway. So there.
  16. In science or philosophy no law can be completely universal (not even that one). It can only apply universally within certain parameters but never to everything. That would be assuming that either there is a finite level to knowledge and discovery or that anything new that we ever discover or figure out will behave in a way which we have predetermined. Likewise in philosophy formulating that everyone will react morally in a certain way is speculating that there is a limit to the human experience. This can?t be proved or disproved. But within limited parameters there are universal laws that work quite nicely. If the laws of Newtonian Physics didn?t apply to a portion of our physical environment then we would all become very dead very quickly for instance.
  17. What?s that coming over the hill? Is it a bus stop, is it s bus stop?
  18. That?s, Touch me I?m sick by Mudhoney Sorry for breaking the lyric game for a bit there btw, mea culpa. Interesting thing that Sanity pointed out about Neds Atomic Dustbin is that, peculiarly they had 2 bass players so I suppose teenage girls were twice as likely to snog a basserist from them than from other bands. Surely Anti Nowhere League are a punk rock band though Honestlucy. Here is the next one directly from the womb of mainstream corporate rock so as not to cause any confusion. Although there is a link to the Seattle scene as a nod to the previous post. What have we done with innocence It disappeared with time, it never made much sense Adolescent resident Wasting another night on planning my revenge
  19. Ok not spelt exactly the same as the cat but anyway, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grebo for those that are interested. Anyway not wanting to hold this up, here's one you can really sink your teeth into: Is this the way to Amarillo every night I've been hugging my pillow dreaming dreams of Amarilloand sweet Marie who waits for me
  20. Not The Wonder Stuff no but probably the next biggest band of the genre.
  21. Green is also the colour of the trail left by a Kryptonite powered craft.
  22. The oppressive curtailment of freedom legislation that is.
  23. The cynic in me has to admit that the likes of Cameron probably can?t wait to get their hands on it.
  24. Well South Africa doesn?t let me vote so it?s nice that someone does.
  25. Anyone? Anyone? Hello? Come on I have tried really hard on this thread not to use lyrics from most of the bands I listen to and rather find ones that you normal folk will know. I didn?t think these guys were that obscure. They?re even poms. From the West Midlands, big in the ?90s, this was one of their biggest songs. Played a style of music that shares its moniker with Nanny Ogg?s cat in Terry Pratchett?s Discworld novels. (just to be a bit obscure about it)
