  1. Has anyone else noticed this?
  2. Yeah the Anchor and Hope in SE7, ;-)
  3. Ladies and gentlemen, this week?s addition to Louisa?s List of Sinister Middleclass Iconography: Pizza. It?s as bad as a sausage roll from a retailer other than Gregs but is also available in pubs.
  4. Is this the barney thread? Come on, who wants some?
  5. Oh bollocks. There is nothing wrong with smacking children if done appropriately and likewise there is nothing wrong with deciding to not do so if you have other ways of properly instilling discipline. There is however a lot wrong with either not instilling discipline or just bullying kids and using discipline as your excuse. Unfortunately this world is too full of fuckwitted shitehawks who think they have some kind of fundamental right to plop sprogs out of their nether regions but are incapable of telling the difference between the aforementioned concepts.

    Watchmen

On the plus side it is good to see that this film is making people want to read the book because if there is only one comic everyone should read it is probably Watchmen.

This morning, 10:12am, pay online for 2 tickets to the 1:15pm show at the Greenwich picture house as there is no matinee at the Ritzy. This afternoon, 12:20pm get into the car in East Dulwich and depart for Greenwich. This afternoon, 12:40pm, reach Deptford. This afternoon, 1:40pm, still in traffic between Deptford and Greenwich. This afternoon, 1:50pm, said some very rude words, turned the car around and headed back to East Dulwich.
  8. Stockwell (Mornington Crescent in 2)
  9. Unfortunately, as I think you full know macroban. A reference to a tropical rainforest can only be followed by a station with a pachyderm in the name in games played during the summer months. But as it is such a fine day today I think we can let it pass. Barking.
  10. Morni... Shit no. Today's the 21st isn't it? Chalk Farm.
  11. You're gonna kill that girl - The Ramones
  12. Where do you stand on vindaloo?
  13. Vincent - NOFX
  14. Let's Go - The Ramones
  15. Can you work out who is sitting at the bar?
  16. You sound like you're sick - The Ramones
  17. Couldn?t have hardly been very many people buried there all the way back then in the olden days though Jah.
  18. Mother Superior - Good Riddance
  19. Interesting points there BBW but can you back them up? As I tried to explain to my high school headmaster on so many occasions, because I say so, is not a valid argument. It is an old Victorian cemetery with crypts and clutches of trees, littered with decaying grey headstones hung with sombre stone angels. I think the question is, how could it not be full of spooks? That noise was foxes, foxes that had the life scared out of them by the shade of a girl in an outdated school uniform who holds her severed head, with gouged out eyes in her outstretched hands, offering it to the people she appears to.

Oh aye it were a right Tyke fest. Like Geoffrey Boycott vs Parky in Celebrity Deathmatch. This statement may or may not be sarcastic. I can never bloody tell with Northerners.
  21. I think the closest thing is the Liberal Club in Peckham.

(He?s not in the band anymore. Anyway dance was just a fad but punk rock will never die.) Sweet Sacrifice - Evanescense
  23. If you?re set on it being in ED, Indie nights in the CPT would be good. They may also be more receptive to the idea than the ones on the high street that cater for the Friday night raz crowds. I think you will have the clientele around here.
  24. I can see all of those exept the one in the bottom left corner looks like an L or maybe an E.
  25. I think he?s referring to namby pamby liberal ideas, a social conscience and the tendency to litter the local coffee shops with discarded copies of The Guardian.
